Half siege cap to 10, double siege damage? i feel this would be useful

main reason? less people moaning about lack of siege since it only takes half the amount to reach the cap, the added damage means they'll be useful again, less sieges might even mean less lag but also less sieges means they'll have more reasons to PROTECT them while allowing more free hands to activly defend the walls and/or field/keep.

i only see one con with this, it would be easier to greif a keep by placing oils to force a cap. but thats why i feel they should increase the unmanned damage by double or even triple, so they break MUCH faster unattended.

    I agree. Also, just remove oils from the siege cap. Siege cap is about limiting the time it takes to knock down a wall. Oils should be outside that equation.

    Not that oils and siege cap is usually a problem, but if the cap were halved then it might be

    I disagree. It's possible to reach the cap with a half dozen players and if there is need to rebalance the time it takes to siege, that can be done in other ways (siege damage on walls, wall hp). However, I would not want to be unable to use more than 5 siege weapons on either side of a keep should I decide to siege it from two sides...

    but the thing is they'd be doubled up in damage. meaning they'd count as 2 of the currents sieges in 1, reducing total cost to deploy, less area demand and possibly reduces lag due to less interactables needing to be up.
