i would suggest drop a tri pot asap when they have stunned and started their burst and streak away a couple times and start doing your own burst on them. If it's just 1 nb, you should definitely have a good chance to turn the fight in your favor by doing this. You should also be using streak and frags to stun them every so often. Some people prefer the immovable pots that restore health in This situation so consider that as well.

I will try this out and grab some tri state potions or maybe use the ones from alliance vendor that returns health and give the immovable buff

its low stam cost and very good heals. Power surge and tri pots if in troyble is usually fine though. if I want to solo ic portals and trap chest without using overload then I need to use vigor.

Run Radiant Magelight or keep Defensive Rune up on you. Also turn up your volume. I am not 100% sure if this was fixed or not, but I used to be able to hear combat music which would give me a quick second to react if I was to be attacked out of stealth.

Using your little stamina to run Vigor on a Magicka sorc instead of using to break free is the formula that results in a dead sorc.

If you are talking strictly for PvP really just aim for like 36k magicka and like 3k spell dmg (buffed). If you are generally bad at pvp having 40k magicka versus 36k isn't going to make or break you. The numbers I listed above are a good starting point and goal to aim for achieving. Once you get comfortable with your build, play style, and general combat mechanics you can tweak and build upwards from there. Most of the time you are going to need to run Power Surge in order to hit that 3k buffed spell dmg. Blue v15 food will also buff your magicka a good chunk but keep in mind your magicka regen rate if you go this route.

I went back to using the Atronach mundus stone since every one and his mother is using the impen trait and you can't crit shields on sorc...so I found stacking crit in Cyrodiil to be kind of silly. That is just my opinion though, as some great sorcs are running crit builds still (Great at dying that is, haha I kid I kid...) The one thing I like about Power Surge is the buff is self activated as opposed to structured entrophy which you have to aim at and hit a target to get the same buff. But the trade off is entrophy proc'ing the Mage Guild buff.

Yeh I have around 35k magicka , and over 3k Spell damage just seems people melt my shield lol

Depends on situation though. For pve sourc won't have any trouble using vigor unless they are also blocking a lot. Pvp duel vs a sourc running vigor also shouldn't be too much of a prob since sourc cc'd a lot less then nightblade etc. and and also depends on food if tri stat was used or blue tea/food. I ran vigor vs a long duel vs sourc recently running blue tea. It went on for ages. Ended up losing because of no Magika left and regen not high enough (about 1500 I think). Great fun and battle though. Vigor vs dk or nb and a Templar = cannot break free. That is what I found. I haven't used a restro staff in a long time so vigor is one of the only options I had to try.

On my V16 sorc i'm currently running 5 kags 1 kena and 3 arch mage with willpower jewelry all spell damage and the atronach mundus stone.

Im sitting at about 3600 buffed spell damage
1800 mag recovery
Almost 33k magicka but I don't not have all gold armor and gold enchants on it yet

I just don't get it seems some people wards don't get wrecked by stam builds but mine gets melted like instantly , in cyrodil I will have like 33 mag 18 k health and 1 4k stam
