How about buffing the other classes instead of nerfing just one? This might help out in pve also.

Yo what about stam sorc? They basically have the same amount of protection but stam sorc can't even stealth. Not using this argument to nerf NBs by the way, I just feel like stam sorcs could use a buff in areas.

i agree with you about stam sorc. i have even state stam sorc needs ALOT of love at the moment. because the only place its semi-viable is PvP and it's still kind of a niche build.
and for the people calling WB NB good just started playing some serious small group PvP on my stam NB and i found out that WB isn't that good on a NB, surprise attack does more dps, and damages armor with no cast time so no dodge and i CC with fear WAY more effective then WB xD.
and i found this out in a day of PvP........

It is if the nightblade is running a dual wield/two-hand combo or bow/two-hand combo. Right now, two-hand is one of the more popular choices for DPS. Really. In fact, in my five minute Google search I couldn't find a single recommended NB build that DIDN'T feature 2h and wrecking blow.

Currently, Nighblade feels pretty balanced to me ... and by balanced I mean balanced to the overall game. I think the solution is to now BUFF (not nerf) the other classes so that they come up to where nightblade is. I would be happy if the started with Templar.

But even if they do this, the assassin-type, snipe-in-the-dark attack is very popular regardless of how powerful a nightblades are - meaning it's not going to away entirely. The only way to do that is to completely remove cloak from the game.

And bear in mind, we're talking about a game where a minor boss can hit you with a random attack for 30,000 damage and kill you instantly. Yeah.

I'm happy with this, but would prefer if they started with Magicka DK and Stam sorc, because they are seriously lacking right now. Templar can kind of get by, but they definitely need looking at without a doubt and no more stealth nerfs.

To the ones crying for nerf....

L2P. There are many ways to get them out of stealth and once you do that they are the squishiest class in the game. Also, you are in a pvp warzone so stop running around alone. When your alone or the straggler of the pack your nb meat. Being in a group using chat helps.

There are sets and potions that increase detection radius which is a good counter to nbs and shieldbreaker for sorcs. So either learn to counter other classes or have fun dying.

One other thing stop using these online builds that is one reason why your strong in one area but the weakest in all the others.

Considering there's only 5 skills and an ultimate per bar it's kinda hard to use a different attack each time, geniuses.

come on man, I hate when I see ppl telling other L2p, it is a game for heavens sake, not something that need dedication and a college education! On Top of that many of the complains are true enough, that no reason is there to be disrepectful to others!

Regarding Groups, yeah check Azura on EU-Server, it is not TES online, it is TES LAG. And potions, you know not all players can run potions 24/7, and what if I Need immovable instead? How should you for example counter an exploiter of camo/snipe (even when you are in group)?

There is always a way to counter one class, but won't work on all of them. Which doesn't make the game balanced or better.

We were weak as hell, no abilities morphed to Stam or scaled off of Stam.. Shadow Cloak didn't work at all, I mean hell Cloak was broken until IC (Imperial City) dropped.. now that might seem recent to Consoles but I am talking about when the game really first started on PC..

IC was when ZOS fixed Shadow Cloak, so single target attacks wouldn't break it and then people (PC and Console alike) started crying about it and that Nightblades are to OP (Over Powered).. but those people that cried and whined failed to realize that until IC dropped (basically from the beginning of the game 3/30/14, early access and such) that Nightblades, played all that time with a Broken Cloak mechanic learned how to play with the weakness (that it failed almost all the time and we had to learn how to escape and kill others with the handicap of it being broken, he'll our own DOT's like Strife would break "Cloak", go look it up if you don't believe me..).

So, now with Cloak being fixed we (Nightblade players) are way more deadly and elusive than before and the other classes were not expecting that (they wanted the same old Nightblades that couldn't Cloak to save our lives) and now they get wrecked all the time, this is the reason we (Nightblade players) hear "Nerf Nightblades" all the time, well sorry, learn to use the Counters to Sneak and Cloak, if you don't then expect to get Wrecked by a Nightblade user (because it's been a loooonnnnnggg time comin'..........)

PS- Been playing a Nightblade character since PC beta in ESO, currently still playing a Nightblade character regularly on NA PS4 since the Console Launch.

PSS- Oh and if you got Ganked in Cyrodiil by a Nightblade, well....welcome to the Club and know that it wont be the last time either..

This only started with IC launch. .__. if they nerf us... makes stam blades *** in pve again.

What they really need to do is make it to where Templar can animation cancel jabs and still get full damage. That's what i read when i see "Nightblade OP" I see that NB has good skills he can animation cancel while others might rely on weapon skills to achieve that.

No need to nerf nigh blade....just add a skill to the fighters guild and call it Mark Target...

Nightblades are the most balanced class mate, meaning they are fine the way they are, their whole class is built around getting in and out quickly with high offense and low defence and your trying to take that away, zenimax might as well rename them "spellsword" if they did that.
