Bats crit damage

If I run a stamina NB build and use bats as an ultimate does it go off of weapon crit or magic crit?

If its magic then putting points into elfborn would increase the bats damage?

If its stamina then putting points into precise strikes would increase the bats damage?

its a bit difficult

ultis are calculated by the hihgest dmg stats you posses so if you are stamina all your ultis are depending on stam, weapondmg and weapon crit.

the CP system on the other hand is dependand on dmg types: elemental, magic, desease, poison, physical and oblivion(seems to be restricted to mob dmg). and in regard of the dmg type you have to chose the proper cp stars(?).

I thought Take flight was the only Ultimate that scales off of weapon damage and the rest are magic damage

edited: I read what you wrote wrong.
TF does physical meaning it gets bonus from your CP Mighty as opposed to every other ult in the game that scales off a form of elemental or magic.
However what tankqull said about the crit is correct.
For example, as a Stamina Sorc I can still do a lot of damage with my Disintegrate passive and Overload, however I will get more damage out of overload if I pump a ton of CP into Elemental Expert which increases my Shock damage.

Ok so putting champion points into elfborn would increase the bats crit damage as well then?

On stamina builds your ultimate scales off weapon dmg, weapon crit and max stamina (this will be the highest stats).

If you want to increase Batswarm dmg you can put points into magic dmg or weapon crit.

aehm nope its the only ulti that deals PHYSICAL dmg and thus is affected by mighty instead of the magical dmg increasements (thaumaturge/elemental expert). and thus is a significant advantage for stamina DKs.
