The huge lag is making PVP in Vet campaigns a frustrating torture rather than fun from time to time!!! For a whole year, it has not been improved even a little bit!!!

    Do anything, please, if we need to cut the population cap then do it. Blackwater Blade provides much much better experience than campaigns like Azura!

    Yeah, its not better on Console either. AoE cap along with Zergs almost ruin Azura's/Haderus. Blackwater is fun time to time, a lot of use prefer smaller groups so we run that way and its much better. Plus NA server, should be for people near North America; running into a guy from Ireland is kinda odd.

    I hope they fix the problem sooner than later, because it has been wearing out the patience of ESO fans for TOO LONG!

    In last ESO Live stream Brian Wheeler has confirmed that, according to their detailed check of the system and the server, lighting and the deer herds are not the cause of the lag spikes. What are the real causes? They still have not found out...... kinda crazy......

    The lag appeared overnight after the dreaded patch that had the lighting fix. They removed the deer afterwards and did not fix it.

    To me it is clear "something" in that patch caused it. Whether it be the lighning fix or some anti-hacker tool or some other fix in that patch, it has to be solved. How hard can it be to try reverting that lighting just to test it out. I don't know much about how a system/server check would go, but what does it tell. Does it say on screen "Everything is fine here, please disperse". Just remove it to test it out, stop LOOKING at a screen/server/system DO SOMETHING.

    @Knootewoot , One of the developers was just talking about this in the last ESO Live he said they tested it and that did not have an affect on the lag. He did mention that its how the server process the data in terms of were you character is as I would watch it was pretty cool techy stuff on how servers process the information. Me personally i think its because we have way to many AOE skills people spam. If i was a better man i would say that is exactly what the problem is. if you played in beta most people didn't have half the skills they have now and the game ran really well. But again I don't know anything since i am not any Engineer and they have "network engineers" working on this.....

    The problem in vet campaigns is prox det, meteor, and aoe caps.

    Ah kk i will check out TESO live. As i said i don't know much about the tech-stuff. The AOE spamming seems a legit cause. The only AOE people spammed back then was the pulse thing.

    I really hope it will be fixed very soon. It just hurts PvP really bad, as yesterday half my skills did not execute when i wanted them to. (like teleport strike or cloak or any bow attack) which is really frustrating. PvP is the only reason i play this game so I hope they sort it out.

    Clearly the server cluster cannot handle the current player cap put on the alliance wars so either upgrade or cut the cap. Can't believe I wasted several hundred changing my rig thinking it would help. Pvp in cyrodil when it's at the cap limit is a joke. I don't even bother anymore.

    Member since early acces. Last time i loged was month ago, and i will come bck when(IF) they fix fps drop in cyro and show some love to pvp comunity. Class balance is a must.

    Lag use to be consolidated to Azura, Now lag has spread to Had. Great, the one campaign that was decently populated but had OK Ping, Honestly figure out the LAG. This game really is already in the shitter, and 5 years from now when Zos Is figuring out how to Stop loss, all people are going to talk about is " remember ESO?"; "yea i remember the Lag".

    Every day that goes on with this Unplayable Ping, Zos's credibility is flying out the window.

    Let me sum up what i got from all the threads about lag and overall pvp performance in which Z. (or rather devs hired by Z.) put some input.

    Game started with a lot of client side processing - which in turn allowed for large scale battles but also lead to multiple hacks. Extremely surprising decision judging by the fact that while ESO was first game developed by Z. but many people hired in development process are MMO veterans. So either total lack of control on developing process or "well we need to give people massive battles no matter what happens and we will worry later" attitude.

    Changes to above resulted in very big loss of performance quality.

    Mr. Wheeler tries to contain the issue as far as he can - removing mercenaries, forward camps, lowering campaign population , deerocide and so on - those didnt bring much change.

    At the same time combat team led by mr. Wrobel led to situation in which players are able to constantly spam abilities due to plentiful resources. Pityful idea of introducing "zergbuster skill" led only to zergs using that skill themselves (who would have thought, right?). With lack of cooldowns, lack of limited ability usage caused bu rigorous resource management and last but not least animation canceling (which was a bug initially then converted to official tactic, perhaps by lack of ability of fixing it on the dev side?) servers performance goes down despite desperate measures implemented by mr Wheeler.

    Doesnt it look like a serious problem in teams cooperation? Left hand doesn't know what right hand does, does it?

    Now mr. Wheeler comes and tells us the lag is caused by players who unlocked High lvl skills and spam them. Were those skills hidden from developers? Weren't they included in server performance tests? Or perhaps another "give them cake and we will fix it later" attitude?

    Please feel free to correct me but from what i see i dont have much hope for my return to the game, since the only element that was fun at some point - pvp is right now hopeless.

    Yes the lag is still there but I can tell that it was much worse in the past.

    Wish I could contribute to this, but I never had lag in Cyrodiil (EU). Been playing since beta.

    Trouble is it's totally wasted on me because I suck at PvP. :(

    Every single time I get into a 1v1 the thing lags. It shouldnt take 2 seconds to swap weapons, or for a skill to activate. Im so sick and tired of dealing with this crap, I cant even insult it because ZoS is more worried about filtering for curse words than doing something about this ANCIENT ISSUE!

    I only really lag in the huge battles. Like 50 v 50 v 50. And then, when I do lag, it is insanity. Like 900 + ms ping lag. Other than that, I usually am at around 65 ms at all times.
