King Kurog's Life after Death [SPOILERS / BUG?]

not that its game breaking or even truly effects the game, but it kind of bothered me that i randomly found king kurog alive and well after the kingslayer quest still.. found him just standing at the bottom of the staircase to frostbreak fortress..
