Rapid Maneuver, Evil Hunter and Caltrops

Whats our chances of getting one of the morphs of Rapid Maneuver, Expert Hunter and Caltrops changed to a magic morph?

Stam users have gotten many good class skills changed to stam, all 3 of those skills above are very good skills and magic users simply can't really use them...they are too cost prohibitive. For me it don't really matter which morph you would choose to change, but i think magic users could really use one of these.

Caltrops is a huge AOE damage snare, Magic users have nothing to compare to this.

Rapid Maneuver having a magic morph would help magic Templars and Magic DK who have no mobility options.

You can still use Caltrops with great effect as a Magicka user

Just because you won't do MAXIMUM damage with something, doesn't mean its not useful

Caltrops + Unchained champion passive is amazing, and highly usable as a Magicka user. Something you can use every fight pretty much right off the bat.

He was mentioning cost. Caltrops is like 7k stamina, most magicka users hover around the 8 or 9k, that means either only caltrops or roll dodge/ cc break. You're not able to do both. He would want a magicka morph for cost, not damage

Yup

Its more about cost and the snare in a large area....not so much about the damage concerning Caltrops. I also think opening up a morph of Caltrops for magic users opens up some options as well.

Yes, it is expensive for a magicka user.. don't attempt sprinting before trying to use Caltrops lol

Elemental magic rather than physical weapon ?

I know plenty of magicka player's who use rapid's. You just need the stamina recovery to make it work.

As a stam user, caltrops is stam and prox is magicka. that should stay. Evil hunter would be find wit magicka morph. I think if rapid was magicka stam users would benefit more though tbh. 30k stam for pure sprint means a stam user would be able to sprint damn near an entire keeps length

They might. Depends on how the skill gets designed. Should the stamina version receive the immunity to snares and magicka an increase to health regen? I think it's open ended to how you want each morph to perform fairly.

As far as im concerned, they really should like switch up some of the alliance and support. Suuport is like all magic based but also extremely worthless except maybe purge and barrier. Those aren't even used for most builds. Then the other you have Magicka det, Vigor, Caltrops, plus the sometimes useable war horn.

Clearly one sided to the stam line...

And yes I would LOVE a magicka version of caltrops... could even remove the damage part and id use it... take that Nbs!

Despite one sided, vigor is still needed.

In return I would like a stamina healing ward/conjured ward, a stamina Bol, a stamina whip etc etc.

Come on 90% of morphs for class skills are in the magicka line. Stamina sucks in pve simply because of no sustain. Mystic orb, spell power cure, elemental drain, shields etc etc. Stamina only has shards (if u bring a Templar healer). When was the last time u ever saw a farm run for icp or wgt bring a stamina dps. It's all magicka sorcs/dks pulling their godly 30k+ dps with over load etc etc.

The only good thing about stamina is pvp duels and stealth ganking burst. Also the cp tree is such that it's harder to mitigate stamina damage. That's the only reason I have a dk and am not using my sorc full time. My sorc just does everything better. Large scale pvp, pve dps and she can also heal! My dk sadly only goes to duels and sometimes me and 2 nb friends camp in ic to kill poor pve noobs.

If fighters guild skills get magicka morphs should mages guild skill will get stamina morphs? Thought not.
Also alliance war skills could all have a stamina and magicka morph but would that make any sense? No.

However if the mages guild had an ice caltrops skill, or an anti undead skill added I wouldn't complain :-).

1). I don't understand the, "that ability uses X resource and I only use Y resource, therefore ZOS should give me a Y resource morph of said ability," mentality.

2). What if we were okay with build diversity? What if we were okay with a difference between Magicka and Stamina?

3). Giving every strong ability a morph from each resource removes depth and choice from the game. It takes cool options in skill variation away and boils it down to two abilities that are identical. One using Stam one use Magicka. How boring.

4). "For me it don't really matter which morph you would choose to change..." Well of course it doesn't... Stamina users don't have access to the powerful abilities that Magicka users have. Would you prefer ZOS takes away your prefered morphs so Stam users can Prox Det in a more "cost effective" way?

5). I like the separation between Fighter's/Mage's Skill lines and Assault/Support.
