LF NB pvp build advice/guidance

Emperor_Atreides
I've done some googling with minimal success. I've recently returned to try the game again, and I have a Vet 1 NB I'd like to focus on. I'm interested in doing a bow/DW pvp build, either stam or magicka based, but when I left last IIRC that was considered non-viable, and trying it in Cyrodiil didnt work out so well. Can anyone provide any guidance on whether there are any good bow/dw builds for NB, or if not, what some similar viable builds are? I'm honestly pretty much starting at square 1. I understand the game systems, but I'm not very familiar with what's considered the right morphs, how to allocate stat points, what to do about which armor to wear (all 1 type or mixnmatch?), etc.

Also, are vampires still considered poor for pvp since the early bat swarm nerfs?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

There are alot of builds for NB's on You tube,

I suggest you look at these guys channels,
    Sypher
    Deltia
    Blobsky

Sypher probably has the most stable builds to use,

Magicka build with bow is great if they brough back softcaps. I run a hybrid build with bow and my damage stamina wise is 2.4k (which is low compared to fall stamblades who have 4.5k or up).

I would suggest: Play how you like your build and accept you are not the top

But many people want to be the topdog.

So if you go stamblades: dual wield and 2-handed max damage. You have little sustain but there are people who have 4.5k WD and 2k regeneration which is enough. Armor could be 5 pc hunding, 3 pc nightmother and 1 molag for example

If you go full magicka you would have more fun because of the build diversity. But you do less damage then stam but sustain is better.

Currently I wear 5 pc willows path and 3 oblivion foe for good regeneration on all 3 stats.
When they bring back "shadow walker set" at V16 I would go 5 shadow, 5 hunding and 1 molag (if they add molag to PvP vendor).

Shadow walker set is awesome if you use it right.

Sure, you can copy the builds from others mentioned above. The builds are awesome, but so are the players. There is no guarantee you will succeed with the above builds. but it's a good start to finetune your own build.

But I think you will be more happy with the game if you try to play how you want. If you die of another one of those Sypher-clones.. just wipe the dust of your armor and respawn. It's just a game.

Edit: Vampire is good for NB. I only have batswarm on my 2nd bar for the extra regeneration. Also the sneak speed is nice

Sure you can use nights silence armor, but there is better armor. If I was a non-vamp NB I would use it though. but I'd rather be vamp so I can use other armor.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I'd say at least 80% of the videos on youtube are not helpful if someone needs guidance for a stamblade pvp build.
