What are some reasons to be a vampire in PVP these days?
For example, on Sorc or NB you have mobility and escape skills. On a Templar healer, vamp can come in handy.
Is being a vampire more necessary/helpful from some classes than others?

Johngo0036✭✭✭✭✭I would say the 2 classes that gain the most are DK and Templar,
Neither of them has a get away skill,
Sorc has streak and NB has Dark cloak,
With elusive mist you have a kinda get away skill...
As a NB i find vamp VERY helpful with the increased sneak speed..

✭✭✭Vampire NB for the sneak speed. You can run the armorset 5 pc "nights silence" which is also good (and better for sneakspeed since your eye doesn't have to be fully closed to get the speed buff in contrary to vamp-passive)
(I could be wrong, or it is fixed. But that was what I noticed last time I used the armor)
But vamp is not only sneak speed. for one bar I have clouding swarm as ultimate just for the 10% exra stam+mag regeneration.٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

For nb even better because they get increased damage while invisible.
Devouring is good for oh crap moments.
Mistform useful for DK and templar.
On the other hand, getting one shot by camou hunter is quite common these days.Susano'o

Johngo0036✭✭✭✭✭Yeah there are big negatives to being a vamp as well in cyrodiil and my VAMP NB is one of them,
I use camohunter and silvershards and they hit like a truck...
Didnt notice until i accidentally hit a DK in a mob with dragon scale up......
HOLY CR@P, i was millilitres from death,
Now i use my TAB button on the enemy i WANT to kill... auto aim sometimes drops us in the dwang,
Also they undead passive is quite nice..PC EU Megaserver

✭Till elusive mist actually works I'd rather run quick cloak or bow off hand. I cured my vampirism, extra dmg just wasn't worth it IMO.0 -
revonine✭✭✭✭I wouldn't recommend vamp for Cyrodill there's just too many negatives and annoying one shots. Getting insta-killed by one of the hundreds of NB's running camohunter and dual wield or getting smacked by a Sorc with Dawnbreaker is not fun in the least. Flashbacks just writing this.
