Well, it is a result of limiting the hotkey bar to 5 keys, most skills players use there (in PvP) are either CC, self defense, buffs (many), and heal/emergency skills, so that you are left with 1 ultimate and 1-2 skills for damage. If you use daggers, you'll only want the AE and the "+20% weapon damage skill" (thrown dagger) and maybe the channeled dagger skill vs. blocking targets.

Those builds might have 60+ crit builds. Invest in impen, use range. Stay frosty. Use a shield (bone shield.)

I agree Bone shield would have saved him here.

Super overlooked in the stam meta. It's scaleed to health, might as well love it if you don't have a class skill available

Did you try to run away and someone knew how to counter a cloaking nb? It's basicly exact what I do on my magicka blade when someone tries to cloak away.

I'm a DK, and no I wasn't trying to run away (or slowly move out of the way in DK speak)

If you use daggers, you'll only want the AE and the "+20% weapon damage skill" (thrown dagger) and maybe the channeled dagger skill vs. blocking targets. You simply have no more free skills to use other things, so every dagger user will use steel tornado until ZOS gets more intelligent, thus they should fire some responsible guy (yes, you, "Mr. Weee") and they nurf steel tornado, as it is the best AE by far.. (stamina ae.. lol)

Not sure about that; I carry wards, a heal, an armour buff and a damage buff and I still have room for 5 damaging skills. Steel tornado being the only thing on your death recap has more to do with zergs than the "limited" hotbar. A large group has enough players for everyone in the group to have a dedicated role, a few of those players will have the role of 'AoE monkey' and because steel tornado is the best AoE in the game and does more damage to low health players it's all you see on your death recap when you get run over by a blob/zerg.

Well what sucks is that ST is technically an execute plus the longest range AOE in the game. Snare+ shields (no crit on shields ;))

you could add another 20 keys to the hotbar, they will still spam only one key,
Only having 5 skills is not the issue,

The issue is that some skills are just the goto with the meta of the game where it is right now,

Yep an execute that starts proc'ing as soon as you take damage. So it is in effect buffed by every other steel tornado zerging in your direction (and other damage skills). Even if you're not in the main body of the zerg you can run along side it and spin to win. Or get behind your enemy as they are engaged and spin to win.

Bone shield and blade cloak will delay the inevitable. Snares only work if it is a dumb zerg with no dedicated Manuevers
