15k damage from Razor Caltrops

How is this possible? Everyone that was hit by these caltrops took 5-15k damage. Enclosed a screenshot as evidence of said caltrop damage.

    low level non-pvp group gets wiped by a pvp group while trying to take a keep whi they entered without barrier and stood in in breech.

    I died off that damage from caltrops last week. I think when u die it shows the caltrops total damage too you 2, which actually adds up if you dont move

    Ive had the same thing and apparently its an Evil Hunter proc from the Caltrops dmg.

    That hint is so much more effective with the killing blow being a shard. I would like all of my death hints to tout the effectiveness of the skill that killed me :D

    With Caltrops? I don't believe it. Nothing with that skill has *ever* been bugged.

      Dragon Knight Weapon damage and Crit build fully buffed dual wielding swords hit you with Caltrops and popped Corrosive Armor if they had 4K+ weapon damage and crit damage buffs from Champion System and Mundus Stone what that Ultimate they remove 100% of your armor.

      Beyond the power bugging and ticking off all at once this is the best Theory I can put forward. Caltrops can do some sick damage when used by Stamina Dragon Knights.

      its possible the majical word is culling... (not rendering the effect until its "too late")
