How to find PvP action in cyrodiil?

Hi Folks,

This might be a stupid question, but here it comes:

I was wondering if there are any tips on where to go to find enemy players to fight against in Cyrodiil.
Pretty much whenever I play, the only time I can find other players is when there's a siege going on but that usually consists of a group of 20+ people fighting another group of 20+ people which isn't what I'm looking for. I just want to become more skillful via small scale dueling.

I often see streamers such as Sypher, king richard etc travelling for like half a minute in cyrodiil before they run into some enemy players, what are they doing that I' m missing?

Cheers

    Follow the horde.

Or go to quest towns near enemy areas, they can't resist.

It's not that hard to know from where to where players run... as DK / Templar you'll die often if more people show up, which happens frequently if you hunt along the supply routes, as you don't have many options to escape..

You'll notice that most solo PvP streamers mostly play NB or Sorc.. as those 2 classes come with an escape plan. When playing DK / Templar, it's either die alot, or play around some structure where you can try and shake people off (ie. bridges)

The quest towns might also be a good place to find some fights (mostly versus non-VR16's though)

Try also farming caves near enemy keeps.

The most popular place in all of Cyrodiil to find enemy players not zerging is Cropford (wtf its name is) and Cracked Wood Cave.

It is that little town that has the gather the seeds repeatable mission. It has a great mission rotation and therefore attracts many solo people.

In the cave you can expect to find a group of 2 to 4 players. In the town is where you'll find the solo people.

Go into a Campaign either full of opposing factions or full with all factions. You would think there is a lot of zerging in such campaigns, however, the repeatable missions do not attract massive numbers (you may come across a roaming zerg that passing through)

All I shoot for is small PvP (join big ones if I happen to come across them) and this has worked out very well for me.

Was doing it last night in Haedrus (sp?) Campaign

of course another option is to put a keep under seige and then wait for the hordes to come defend it..

If your looking for dueling, join syphers guild called legend. There is a player run dueling camp usually outside IC. If your looking for the random small scaling pvp battle, check your map and watch for small crosswords to pop up.

Build a time machine and travel back in time to a month after launch. Pvp was amazing then, tons of people as well.

    1. lfg
    2. Look for crossing swords icons on the map. That indicates a battle between factions, and will tell you if it's a small or large one.
    3. Watch the enemies movements on the map. This will give you an indication where they'll be coming from. For example, EP took Bleaker's, and I just knew they'd be going to Ash next, so I camped the gate. Sure enough, a huge zerg ran through. I picked off the stragglers near the end and pretty much repeated this for a while. As they started to die at Ash, I attacked as they rode back because they were in smaller numbers. Made a good deal of AP that way, and had a lot of fun.
    4. Occasionally ask people for a duel. I've met some great people this way, and we've added each other to our friends list. This allows us to duel whenever we're both on and things are quiet.
    5. Randomly throw rocks at enemies home keeps. Put it UA then hide. It should be enough to grab their attention, and if there's not too many scouting the damaged wall, take them on.

    LFG works?
As a casual player I was satisfied that at one point I had a char max level and near max crafting with almost all motifs and I pretty much lost interest. Then ESO discovered DLC's and now my main is just a wanabe and I am happily pulled back into the game.

You cant pvp in Cyrodiil because there is something called lag. You can try IC but there are mobs that could make everything harder.
