are you in favor of battle leveling....i don't quite get it

i just don't understand battle leveling in pvp...what i mean is that V1-V13 are battle leveled so that there stats could help on having chances of competing against V14-16. but what i don't understand is that when you reach V14-16 is that V1-V13 has sometimes betters stats than V14-V16. and if you are V14 and don't have enough gold to spend you wont be able to afford to buy V15-V16 armor sets and that's why I am still stuck with crafted V14 armor sets. I have V16 nightblade and my stats unbuff are 8093 on magicka, 16k plus on health, 22k on stamina. I am stamina base and have 64 points on stamina. I am using crafted V14 armors. And I have V6 sorc and I am only using V1 warlock and seducers set and my stats unbuff are 19,000 on magicka, 30k on health and 17k on stamina.that's why i prefer using my sorc over my nightblade simply because of my sorc stats over my nightblade...i have killed a lot ov V16 in pvp dueling and I feel good about my sorc but when I am in my V16 nightblade, I don't feel confident with it simply because of my stats with it. i still can't find the logic about being battle leveled.. When you reach V14 your stats are even inferior to low levels. i thought we are battle leveled to match the stats of V14-V16. that's why sometimes you'll see V14-V16 having hard time on killing low levels because they simply has better stats than them

I'm not being mean here, but is it possible to tell us exactly what you don't like about battle levelling without the big blob of text? I'm not really understanding what you're trying to say.
Are you saying your stats were better when battle levelled than they are now?

yeah man. I like my stats with my nightblade when I didn't reach V14 simply because of battle leveling.I was really excited to reach max level. But when I lost all the buffs because of reaching V14, I didn't wanna play my nightblade anymore. Now with my V6 sorc and with all this buffs, I am not in a hurry to reach V14. I would rather stay below v14 for a long time. It's like your stats are well balanced if you are below V14.

It's like riding a bike with training wheels... Once you have to ride without them you will feel weak at first, and you have to try hard on your own to become better. And your skills at V14 are weaker because battleleveling ignores your gear, it gives you flat numbers which don't mean anything. You probably could be naked and still be a formidable opponent.

I guess I am just lucky that I am mainly a PvE-Player and have to look out for everything myself from the beginning if I want to be strong.

What I don't get is why are so many butt hurt by it. Yes they have stats of a VR14 but that doesn't mean the have the skills, gear, or atrributes points of one.

Or your build is meh.

Im vet 12 and i TURNED battle levelling OFF.

My character does so much better now. With leveling on 20k magicka, 30k health 16k stamina, 800ish magicka regen etc.

With it off im at 31k magicka 21k health and 9k stamina, 1500 magicka regen.

Far far FAR better with it off.

If you found your build has become worse after battle levelling, you need to adjust your stats.

My gear is all green, crafted by myself, armor.

New gear will make the difference.
You will hit way harder and have a better sustain than with battle leveled stats.

You also get a lot of attributes you dont need for your build. On my magicka sorc I had like something like 20k stamina and 34k health...but really really low magicka, when battle leveled. You're like some fat hybrid punch bag with no dmg. Looked much better at VR14.

I have a vet 3 sorc and turn battling off right now becuase sure the hp is great but it lowers my 35k Magicka to 20k so I hit like a wet noodle. Now the new battle Lvling in the upcoming update is very good. If you set up your build right you can have pretty much the same stats as your build for vet15. So being able to be viable in pvp without grinding to vet15 is kinda nice.

Look at your statement " Yes they have stats of a VR14"...Exactly you said they have the stats of VR 14. one thing you need to understand is that even though you are battle leveled your spell dmg and wepon dmg are capped,
also your regens are what they are,

So in effect you actually do really crappy damage but have a huge pool of health, and magicka or stamina....
Stamina and magicka are also buffed so when you lose battle leveling you lose which ever attribute you have no/little points into.

I battle level up to vr10 and then go the full monty,
I hate the fact that i cannot up my spell dmg/weapon dmg beyond a point.

Either your v16 has much higher values for everything else (weapon damage, stamina regen, armour, ...) or you just have a very bad build. (Then you should think about it again or ask for help to get a better one)

My v16 DK has 29k magicka, 21k health, 13k stamina aswell as 2.4k magicka reg and 1k stamina reg unbuffed. Which in my oppinion is much better than your battle leveled stats even though half my armour is still v14.

Luckily it is something that's adressed with the upcoming DLC.
I prefer stats are increased by percentage, not by flat numbers. Regens, and weap/ spell dmg included.

A friend of mine was running his sorc dps, around vr 13. Where spell dmg, crit regens were not far away from a fully geared vr14s. Once he hit the vr14, the battle levelling was removed and he became major squishiness. Below that level he could do serious damage, and survive at the same time, due to well built character. Maybe he could reached once again heroic numbers did he reach vr16, but he simply switched characters, as he had no patience stumbling through the battlefield like a toddler, with the unbuffed crippled stat till he could acquire mats and tv stones for the epic gear.

Vr11 Nightblade DPS friend of mine weap dmg and crit is nearing the wep dmg of vet14 dps. (something like 2800ish weap dmg or so), but his abilities are like 10k higher. 38k HP (not with food buff, but with regen one!). This compared to my 27k HP Vr16 tank seems a bit high.
I am aware that his protection is likely lower , not only because of the medium armor, but also vr11 gear. What's the armor difference between vr11 and vr 14 gear? A couple hundred points? Like a few percent extra damage redux?

That near 10k extra point in stats matters.



This said, I am not really bothered by it. Just giggle every time when I see the undestructable NB friend of mine marching into battle like a boss, while under the same pressure tankier builds of vr16s are ground. (could be the lack of mobility? dunno)

Thanks for all your inputs guys. Right now i am really enjoying my V6 sorc with V1 armor sets, green still.minhave survivability and can stand up to V16 with with good armors. I was gank up a lot of times before by higher levels especially V16 and ended up killing them.... I just really have to improve my V16 nightblade with V14 armors. I dont have enough gold to buy vet15-16 armors
