So im interested in using Two-handed for my sorcerer but im not so keen on spamming Wreaking Blow. I know it's a great skill i just fin it boring. So i wonder a bit, can i still do good damage with Two-Handed without having to use Wreacking Blow?

Im planning on using 2H for my stamina sorcerer.

Without wrecking blow you will be doing next to no damage, it is the main damage ability for 2 handed. So no, without that ability, stam sorc wont be effective.

If you were a nightblade i'd say it's okay to not utilize wrecking blow... but in your case as a stamina sorcerer you are forced to relie upon many of the weapon class abilities.

If you don't like Two hand, you should pick up 1h+s and spam puncture (ransack). Otherwise you will have to use wrecking blow.

Depends on your enemies, crit rushing back and forth between multiple enemies can be great fun, will heal you when you have surge up and do decent damage. But it will be hard for you to focus one single enemy without any spammable single target skill.

It is definately possible. But the executioner is a must have, you need to run this.
You can just use other abilities and use this strong execute when your target is below 50% or less.

Wrecking blow is freaking dangerous, I advise you to take it. But you can definately live without.

Op - i agree with u, been lvling my dk tank and using a 2hander for when dps is needed and i must say that WB just feels bad, i used to play a slam warrior in the old wow days and was hoping it would be similar. But WbWbWb is just naf - as. a DK can i get away with using somthing else or mix it up a bit ? wb another skill Wb another skill ?

i weave WB + heavy attack back and forth til executioner is viable. keeps stam up and does good damage (+20% dmg increase on your heavy attacks). also i use shield breaker so this attack keeps pressure up on shield users

you can also use WB then crit charge your enemy while he is flying thru the air which is fun sometimes.

the WB + light attack (animation cancelled) + executioner combo works pretty decent too and is quick once you get it down. also it feels pretty good to get this combo off for a pvp kill :)

Kinda sucks for stam sorcs at the moment. You're pretty much limited to WB. DKs can easily go S+B and rely on ransack + powerful DoTs and a cheap casting high damage ultimate, Nightblades have a whole arsenal of choices besides WB (my stam blade just relies on 2h for rally), Templars have jabs, and sorcs have totally nothing.
If you want to make stam sorc work without WB you'll probably have to get creative.
I myself tried a few variations.. one of them was a S+B abomination. I put some CPs into magicka cost reduction and regen because there was a couple of magicka based spells I would be using often. I'd root my target, slam down liquid lightning (it does decent damage if they are getting damaged with other things at the same time), then hit them with light/heavy attacks while chaining ransack (or pierce armour) on the end.
Put down an atronach at the same time, and they are getting some serious DoTs along with your physical attacks. S+B gives you a bit more mitigation, a nice gap closer and stun, reflect spell (or absorb spell to recover extra health). It's just such a great weapon tree, and definitely my favourite.
You can go dual wield on your other bar and use steel tornado as a sort of execute (great for getting health back from surge too), and slashes to lay on an extra dot for more pressure. The 50% snare is decent because it can keep your target closer to your atronach for longer, or shield assault/root them if they attempt to get away.
    Like I said.. creative.

If you still really want that 2h, replace dual wield with 2h and slot in Rally for heals and Executor for the, uh.. execute and use S+B as your main.
