Stamplar IC survivability? How do you?

Hi, I'm Solariken, and I'm a respec-oholic. Prior to the IC patch, I used to hop between stamina and magicka builds on my Templar at least once a week. This update seems to have made it prohibitively expensive to gear up, but I want to boil my swapping down to one set of gear for stamina and one for magicka so that I can continue to swap, even if it costs me a whopping 20k gold each time.

I never have survivability issues with magicka, ever. DPS is lower for sure, but spamming Puncturing Sweep is the way forward.

But stamina... I die all the time now. I actually have way more fun with the stamina play style and love the DPS. I don't have many issues surviving in direct PvP combat, even 1v2 or 1v3. But those IC mobs hit like trucks y'all, I can BARELY solo a pack of 3, even with keeping up Vigor (and Rally if I happen to be running 2h).

What do you other stamplars do to survive? Do you run Empowering Sweep and sacrifice Flawless Dawnbreaker? What else?

In pvp ic the number of Templars healing, jabs and radiant destructing seemingly is the way to go.

My spamming wb with 3.8k weapon damage ain't enough to kill them.

No idea what a stam templar does so can't comment.

I use immovable brute to help with my defense, I also have two pieces heavy armour, and one of my skill bars is sword and shield, I also use rally and vigour as well as breath of life (despite being a stam build it can still help a little in a pinch, and what else am I going to use that bit of magicka for?) or sometimes blazing shield (although admittedly, it is a really weak skill, but it is better than no shield I guess). I also have all my points in health, and I get my stamina from enchantments, and I run a sustain build.

I survive very well against mobs while solo, against other players I can 1v1 easy, and sometimes 1v2 (anymore than that, and I usually get trashed). I do find though that often in fights that are 1v1, both myself and my oponant take a lot time, and it has happened where no one is going to win so we get bored and walk away, which is kind of bad game design in my opinion.
