Can't play since IC update. On main screen, "press A to play", but it never goes any further.

Getting really annoyed I can't play, paid for eso + so I could play imperial city and now I can't even play at all!
My game comes on and when I get to the screen with the elder scrolls circle thing, I press A to play and it never goes any farther. I've also tried it on multiple internet connections...anyone else having this issue? Really hoping I won't have do uninstall and reinstall this monster 55gb's again.
