PS4: Please Redesign User Interface

The user interface on the console is pretty basic in all regards. There are times I wish I could collapse the list of recipes or get more detail on the character screen such as time remaining for research. There is so much missing that the player must spend time every day accessing various screens and interfaces just to stay on top of stuff that isn't related to actually playing the game. I understand it's an MMO and MMOs are primarily geared for PCs. But I'm asking the community to start making some noise regarding improvements that are sorely needed --- like text chat. Why do I need to listen to every foul mouthed teenager / college student trying to one up each other in public voice chat? I turn that stuff off. So, how am I suppose to communicate in game with anyone? I guess I could use the cumbersome emotes interface or I could just type into a text chat window that doesn't exist. It's not impossible either. DCUO has had one for a long time. Warframe has it. It's not like we can use ADD ONS on the console either. So, please, pretty please, help the players out. Or maybe create an official second screen app for android and iphones.

I know about the fan made ESO Toolkit. It doesn't do enough and it can't pull data from your game account. Only official software could accomplish that.
