The dodge roll nerf needs to be adjusted

Right now people are spamming immobilize abilities like it's going out of style. Honestly I think the cool down should be reduced to 3 seconds. On top of that the cool down shouldn't activate if you dodge roll while immobilized.

    I think it is in a perfectly balanced state. Perma dodge rolling was bigger issue than block, BE spamming and Nirn. You can still effectively roll 2-3 times without losing too much. But you wont be able to dodge roll in between attacks like every stamina user used to which was uncounterable by magicka users, except shieldstacking sorcs.

    It's not in a balanced state when people are permanently immobilizing you, and you're punished for breaking out of it.

    A good use of the OP Purge, Cleanse if you are a templar, Shuffle or Maneuver makes you avoid it. In occasions where you run into multiple people spamming bombard, oh well, face it that you cant escape it since bombard serves its purpose.

    Retreating Maneuver when you need to get out of there. It definitely is worth it now that rolls cost more.

    You are not "forced" to dodge roll out of immobilize. There are available tools in the game for both stamina and magicka users to free themselves without dodge-rolling. You are choosing not to slot them because you want to stack weapon damage and devote your bars to maximize your damage output.

    if your justifying the fact certain builds can cc you over and over without an immunity timer your just wrong.
    The numbers thing is always going to be there, but it’s more down to player skill and there are ways through ability choice to configure a group to be stronger vs. large groups of people. - BRAIN WHEELER - 2012 - LOL

    Stamina builds need to tank + kite. Im doing very well on my stamblade. Just out heal them. I block big hits and im fine.

    Rally is still a must have and has not been adjusted. All stamina builds have to run it.

    Perhaps not heavy migation builds, or stamina builds who are deeply specced into magicka regen, but oh well.

    The problem at present with current dodge roll mechanics is:

    The roll has been slowed.
    The distance rolled has been shortened.

    As you see its not just higher cost, the developers made it useless as a escape from injury.

    They wanted to get ride of perma dodge roll. Only a select few were able to do that and only because of insane regen amounts. Most peiple with 1.5-2k stam regen could not perma roll. Still.. A flat nerf was apparently needed...

    That being said: shuffle, purge, cleanse come to mind to counter this.

    lol - stamina users just get a set to bypass magica defense. Get shieldbreaker or get gud mate :blush:

    A nice double check is:

    replace same statement by magicka / bolt escape.. then check if you still agree with your own statement

    Besides once broke free you get immunity. There's also the heavy armor active that grants immunity. Rally removes snares, retreating manouver too.

    That's actually not a bad idea. Permanent dodge rolling at all times is still impossible, but so is permanent rooting.

    I think dodge roll is balanced but the problem is snares at this patch? I mean i do play stam nb also im okay with dodge roll nerf but since snares are kinda *** up at the moment first a few dodge roll totally looks useless. or just shuffle. i dont know i guess i hate snares at this patch :pensive:

    This was a bug and was fixed.

    Every class has access to manuevers, shuffle or Forward Momentum if they find snares to be a problem.

    I use Forward Momentum myself and I run through EP zergbags and live all day long in the Sewers.
