Anybody know if siphoning attacks procs off of crippling grasp DOT ticks? I can't seem to get the FTC combat log to show magicka gains from it so I have no clue as to how effective it is.

AoEs and DoTs can only proc it on the first hit, but ground AoEs like Caltrops, Volley, Wall of Elements and Path of Darkness can proc it multiple time cause it's not DoT damage. You can try one of those. It will help a magic build more then a stamina build.

I'm pretty sure Wall of Elements and Path of Darkness (and probably Volley) can only proc it on the first tick - they are considered AoE DoTs. I remember testing Path a while back and this is how it worked, so I assume it's still the same. Caltrops is a special case, and it definitely can continually proc Siphoning Attacks.
You have to consider the 972 regen per light/heavy as well. If you animation cancel every other ability that's roughly 972 Stam/Mag regen . Not even drink boosts regens by that much ( with a few exceptions).
When I use it, I try to look at it this way. It's 972 regen, with an added bonus of maybe getting a 1900 proc.

Yes but that when it's up when ever you need SA having it going down and being too in to the battle so notice
