pvp campaign bug: Locked out

Ok, so I chose thornblade before the patch hit for a pvp campaign, upon launching the game post patch and trying to get to cyrodil the game noted I had not chosen a campaign and I was unable to pick one due to being locked out from chossing one for two days and I'm stuck guesting...

I have the same situation. Except it has locked me from even guesting.

Yeah, same here. I had Chillrend as my guest before, but now I can't select a guest campaign for another day. This is very irritating. And now I don't really want to set a home campaign because I'll probably end up changing and costing me AP

@ZOS_GinaBruno I haven't seen any dev tracker movement on this topic, and there's quite a few topics about it. I know you're busy but just wanted to make sure you catch this.

Here's basically what's going on with this issue:

When you reassigned your campaign yesterday, the regular 24 hour timer kicked off. We reset everyone's campaigns with this update so everyone gets a free campaign reassignment. However, the original 24 hour timer is still active, so you will not be able to assign a new campaign until that timer has expired. This is a known issue on our end and we're in discussion about how to fix it for future updates. However, at this time, the only resolution is to wait until the original timer has expired.

@ZOS_GinaBruno is the cost of changing your home campaign going up? I heard people talking about this last week saying it was going up to 150,000 AP to change your home campaign. If that's true then this campaign re-assignment timer is a HUGE problem. If not then it's no big deal.

So I have a 52hr cool down. Still on my timer...so I have to wait another 2 days before I can play? If that's what you're saying that's completely ***.

Hey everyone.. I have a suggestion, but not sure if it works.

As you are all aware, you can no longer "travel to player" if they are in Cyrodiil (or IC).

On PC (hence why I'm not 100% sure it will work on console) you can create a group outside of Cyrodiil, and have the leader enter their home campaign (so yeah, need someone who has it set) and select Queue as a group, rather than queue solo. Everyone will be allowed to go in, even if it's not their home/guest campaign. This is a workaround to allow friends to still play together (although making "campaign hopping" much harder)

I have not tested if this works with the leader's guest campaign. If anyone tries this and it works, maybe spread the word?

omg No solution But wait till the timer resets?!? Basically i paid for nothing? I will so cancel my sub...

As for the group up Solution yes you can play in cyrodiil but none of your actions get u up in leaderboard so pointless...

It will at least allow you to get into IC, collect/spend Tel var stones, complete quests, get achievements etc. I know it's not a perfect workaround, but it's better than not getting in at all.

@chasr00 Thanks for confirmation that it works on console as well. Be sure to spread the word so others can check out the new content too!

@Infinite12 Yes, that's correct, but at the same time, the cost of changing your home campaign when the current one ends is going down to 50 AP (from 5000) and the timer is going down to 12 hours (from 72). This is to encourage people to stay in one campaign for its full duration, but to make it easier to swap out at the end of the campaign cycle.

Note also that the timer on the free reassign of Guest campaigns is going up from 3 days to 4.

@Enodoc so I'm stuck in this campaign for 6 days now or lose over half of my AP. This strategy wasn't very well thought out in terms of this campaign reset. I really these guys had left my guest campaign alone if you weren't going to reset the timer. I can't figure out how that was overlooked.
