Method for creating character names? (OOC)

I've started a new RP story (written) involving my ESO character and am struggling to create names for the people involved in her backstory. Considering all races, is there a tried and tested method for coming up with names? How does everyone else come up with their character names?

I'm two pages into it and there's just a lot of blanks where names should be

I go to the pages on UESP Wiki and look at all the names of the characters of whatever race I'm portraying and then I make one up that works in their style. For instance, Dunmer names seem to all have two syllables and end with a consonant, and if you read them you can get a feel for them and then just make up a new one!

I have done a lot of writing, most of it original works, and by far the hardest thing for me to do is come up with names.

I usually just Google "ESO (race) names" and take the first good looking link.
I think they're the uesp links I end up clicking.

After looking through a list or four, I put something together.

I usually get my inspiration for names for my characters form novels of other fantasy world. I.E. dark sun world, dragon lance, forgotten realms, and the middle earth universe. My current character an orc I had gotten his name from the leader of the orc/goblin army and the sworn revile of Thorin from the hobbit (wasn't featured in novel as much as he was in movie) Azog.. I know it isn't the most original way of making names but I find it easier then spending hours thinking a name to fit my characters race. Another fast option an I seen it on this thread is to use random name generator, u can find them most races just about everywhere online and even on mobile apps too, I have seen tons on them on the Google Play store.

I look at the first thing I see maybe combind it with the second thing like I look and see a desk and a pen and you have the new name of pendeski "the dragon slayer" boom name created...

example 2:

you see a clock and a camera....combinding...... clamera "the female beauty" it works and you can get some unique names

just don't recommend using pedometer and file... it makes dometafile.... but not many people would see that at first glance

Why not use names of the many NPC characters that are in the game already? There are hundreds of characters that just go about their business but don't really play any part in a mission/main-story etc etc. Perhaps you'd be able to find some that are suitable for your needs and bring them to life more?
