Templar PvP question

So I am new and trying to figure things out for the most part. I wanted to roll a more support character for PvP mostly healing and stuff. I ran in to a dilemma Both the restoration staff and the Restoring light skills on my Templar have some skills I would like to utilize but if I take both I am literally 100% vulnerable If I get caught in an odd position in Alliance battles. Any suggestion on which one to drop and what to pick up in it's place?

Also should I go full light armor or use 2x heavy armor?

How are you vunerable? You have 2 different skill bars. Are you not level 15 yet? At level 15 you get the ability to weapon swap to another skill bar with the same amount of skills. There are more than enough skill slots for Resto and Restoring skills plus whatever else you need like Rapid Maneuvers and other utility/damage abilities.

I think what he is saying is he has put one skill bar into class Healing and one into restro staff healing giving him nothing in the way of offence, which of the 5 actives can he ditch to add some offence for an emergency.

At least that's how I read it.

I have unlocked the a few skillknes and I mix n match as I see fit ... Play and see what works

There are a few I use that heal myself while attacking these ensure I stay fit n healthy in order to unleash the healing needed on others

Read the descriptions, play around and see what suits your play style I can recommended my set up but it doesn't work for everyone, others have tried it n hate it.
