Make Dawnbreaker cost MORE

With Dawnbreaker only costing 100 ult its easy for a player to jump into a group Proxy Det. and drop Dawnbreaker and kill 5 players at one time. Please make it cost more so its not spammed every other move like it is right now.

Yeah dawnbreaker damage is out of hand since its become fotm ulti. Such an annoying ulti thats so cheap at the same time especially for sorcs.

You can tell that the OP literally tabbed over, probably before he even ressed, to make this post right after he got rekt by a Dawnbreaker.

Yes, this is one of the times they worked to make a power stand with others and seemed to overlook the fact is was one of the cheapest.

It also makes it way to easy to bust zergs to the point where you don't even have to think, just spam dawnbreaker and everybody dies. It's also one of a few ultimates that can be used in really bad lag.

I'm not a dawnbreaker spammer myself but it's saddening to see that people think that being able to 1 shot a bunch of noobs and or vampires with dawnbreaker equates to being a skilled player. Y'all know which players I mean by that too.


It needs to cost more ultimate or do less damage or something.

Or it could just be that it is currently bugged and overperforming....Leave the ultimate cost as it is, just fix the bug.

Anything that you hit with it which falls under the Fighters Guild monsters which it;s abilities have a greater effect against, get hit with the full damage of the dot on each tick.

So when Meth is emp, and yeah we all know that's who you are talking about, he wipes groups of Vampires very easily because of this bug.

Actually I wasn't talking about him, we're on the same faction. Therefore he cannot hit me. There are other non emp players out there that can also 1 shot vampires, or come close to a 1 shot.

the ulti is bugged in a way that if you animation cancel it the dot is triggered instantly.. ofcourse every a-hole thats also running with 2 Mundus stones and a bunch of bugged gear is going to use it.

ragequit yesterday.. and again today because of broken *** that people are using to get easy kills while wondering why it is taking so long to fix these kinds of things..

The reason Dawnbreaker does so much damage is ZoS's fault. Its bugged. Dawnbreaker is a DOT ability and when you smash dawnbreaker down on the ground for the cone the initial damage plus the first DOT attack happen at the same time. Thats why it hit's so hard.

Dont even think about it zos. People non stop complain about zerg you give us an ult to deal with they complain about said abilty

Dawnbreaker is fine, just how it is, the issue u are having is that you are a vampire and u hate dying to it .
But the spamming to create lag , only to lag people out, to kill them, that must be stopped.

Can actually proc its full damage on a non vampire too. Or didnt you know that

You're right, I don't like dying to Dawnbreaker well I don't like to die period but I say screw it ill kill them next time but when I cant get a hit in one the player thanks the his zerg buddies, lag, or his two in one hit combo I don't have a chance at combating it. I do think though it needs to cost more to prevent spamming like it is being now

Problem is the bug that comes with Dawnbreaker of Smiting

If you Anicancel it the DoT damage goes off all at once instead of small ticks. so you get Dawnbreaker+Full DoT dmg

Full DoT damage? Are you sure? I was under the impression that the animation cancelling made the initial damage and first DoT tick hit at the same time.

My highest recorded single target damage with Dawnbreaker of Smiting is 32k (probaby on zombie npc), this could explain why its so high.

It's funny to see scrub Sorcerers just run up to you, use Dawnbreaker of Smiting and then look amazed because half the world didn't die.

Yeah pretty much everyone is using Dawnbreaker now (Except me apparently haha). It's pretty sad and pathetic and if you don't happen to expect it and roll through the target or block it it does insane damage. Magicka nightblade hit me for 17K as a non-vamp with it the other day. Pretty insane for a instant cast animation cancelled ult.

Dawn breaker of Smiting often one shots me from full health of not the burst then to the dot that start .01 after the burst and I have 22k spell resistance

Just fix the f'in bug with the Smiting morph and be done with it, no need to ruin an otherwise well balanced skill. That's probably too simple for ZOS though, they don't do obvious.

thats the problem as it deals magic dmg it is significantly enhanced on magica classes.

my suggestion would be to turn it into undefendable/protectable what ever it was called that penetrates shields and blocking - make it deal a flat but halfed dmg as currently that way you have a great way to screw sorcs/enyone else who just made it into their shields again or jug a stamina potion to bring upo their perma blocking while negating the insta-kill effect, as you would have to wear down your enemy beforehand.
