requesting character load... & Unable to connect to game server

I login, choose my character, it minute or two of waiting at the requesting character load... screen and then it sends me to the start menu with the "unable to connect to game server. please make sure you have a valid internet connection."

It was working earlier today. I reset my router and unplugged my xbox for a moment then plugged it back in, no change.

    It's a new issue for sure as he just relogged and is getting the issue ur getting but I'm playing still

    Me too --- wont log in - says cant connect to internet or lobby, yet my friend is playing!!!!! ESO when did you clean the cache on the server last?????? This should Not be occurring, especially on a weekend evening!!!!!

    My problem is ZOS not Xbos Live -- Im on chat using Xbox Live so I know its not Xbox - I cant either get past log in screen, or if I do happen to gt a char online - it dc's within 2 min especially if I try to use a wayshrine!!!!!!

    Well, its not my modem or router, I unplugged my Xbox, restarted that didnt solve it either - therefore since None of their suggestions work - it must be them especially since it is happening to more than one person and Im sure we are on different IT services and regions.

    Theyre saying Check your Router, IT connection and ports, Xbox updates, etc etc. It isnt any of those issues. ZOS just isnt responding

    Remember their support team is most likely ppl reading a script and cut n paste. No actual hands on experience and are working not actually able to test what info they provide us.

    Just keep tweeting, posting and opening tickets

    Its With you ZOS, It was working just fine then Poof!!!!!! If you can get on - dont fast travel or use a wayshrine!!!! Dont decide to switch chars Either!!!!!
    After about 10 tries and Checking EVERYTHING on my end Im on but for how long - who knows!!

    Trying other servers didnt work - turning off and even unplugging mu system didnt work - seeing how Im using Xbox Chat well its not them, No notices from Xbox Live on any issues, Sooo......... now who will take responsibility

    So after a try or two. I was able to get in. So far so good. Using wayshrines and loading. I'll come back with any more issues. Anyone still havering issues?

    Woot 20 min game play then Poof!!!! Come on ZOS - this many having issues.. should be a sign for you to look into this.

    Unable to Connect to Lobby...... This indicates this is SERVER Side, not player issue or Microsoft. Also if you do get in game - if you do anything that requires a map load - ie wayshrines, fast travel, delves - it kicks you as it cant load the map -- This is surely server side!!!!

    Same thing is happening again plus some other things, when I manage to make it into the game, I try going to cyrodiil only to be dropped before the loading screen comes up when I accept travel there and two times I couldn't seem to move my character around, like I was against an invisible wall.

    I can log in sometimes, but I cannot zone into Malabar Tar. Instant DC when I try through way shrine or Greenshade Gate.

    Same exact issue. However, happens sporadically on several zones, but happens 100% of the time trying to transit to cold harbor.

    Ok was in-game - completed the Norvalik Ruin with Tharn - tried to leave the Ruins - Poof! Still seems to be the same issue - either saying no internet connection, cant connect to lobby, cant load Char Data, Cant load maps. I dont know If ZOS has paid any attention to any of the players regarding this matter, but These are all Server Side Issues. There is Either a Service not working properly or or is down. On a online server such as this the server has many services running for various parts of the game, it seems to me one or more are not properly communicating.

    I understand with online servers ( I own 2 of my own private servers) there will be hiccups, However, This is not Fair nor Right not to just the players, But to Bethesda as well.
    All of us have paid a great deal of money not to mention hours on this game, and not to be able to play it... well Im sorry it is not acceptable.

    I do appreciate the work ZOS does put into this, however, it seems there is a Substantial matter with your server that has been going on for over 12 hrs now and people on the NA Server (Im NA XB1) are still having major issues.

    Could we Please get a ZOS response to this and let us know what is going on and when will this be resolved???

    I am also having issues logging in and staying in, and trying to level before vamp dissappears, very upsetting that ESO?Zenimax is not addressing an obvious problem. Worse when I try to create a ticket I get auto logged out on here. Best thing t do is flood them with ticket requests about this because they are not paying any attention to it.

    2 tickets submitted nothing but an automated response telling me to check my internet connection, router then if problem persists contact Microsoft. This isnt a XB1 or Microsoft issue, This is Server - everyone in NA PS4 and XB1 are experiencing this!!!

    I started having the issue last night around 9pm EST. I joined a group outside wayrest sewers, started to enter the dungeon and was dropped from ESo server. After resetting my gateway, checked my internet dl/ul speeds and router logs, I determined my internet and router were working properly. I was able to log back in, however, when trying to enter a dungeon or the cyrodil campaign, I get dropped from ESO server. Everytime I run this sequence, I can log back in, but get the same problem entering dungeons or cyrodil.

    Saturday morning, 10:30am EST, can't log in at all, it times out and never connects.

    xbox one, NA server. Internet works, rebooted xbox, rebooted router. Come on, dudes.

    Their number is supposedly 1-855-296-3170 but it likely doesn't work or isn't monitored.

    I'm having the same problem. My Internet us working fine. All of my other games work in multi-player fine. Eso is the only game that won't connect.
