Looking for Marriage?

Looking to find out what in-game marriage gives you. Any bonuses? I'm a bit of a completionist and would like to experience every corner of ESOTU, including getting married. I have a fiance in real life but because we use one console for the game we can't marry each other. He has given me his blessing to look for an in-game husband

I play on the PS4 in the EU right now but will probably change over to PC once I've actually built it. So for now, I'm looking for someone in the Ebonheart Pact, although I have pretty much identical characters in the other Alliances, I'm exploring EP for now. I'm only level 8 but I hope to level up quite quickly (I own a gaming company and game for a living pretty much!). I'm a Wood Elf specialising in Archery and have attached a picture at the bottom of this post.

My goal isn't just to marry anybody, I'd actually like to make some friends in the process

First: I am not sure there is a way to move your characters over to the PC server from console. Sounds like that's what you plan to do in the future.

Second: the Rings of Mara give you an additional 10% boost to XP gains while wearing them AND being grouped with your partner. That is on top of the ESO TU bonus and the grouping bonus.
Without a guildmate or friend you already know playing when/as you do, it can be very difficult to find a Mara Partner. Just as in real life, its hard to find the right one.

I plan to start fresh when I get the PC built, so no worries there They seem like decent bonuses tbh. Hopefully I can make a few friends on here and find someone that way. It's not important, just would be interesting to experience!
