Is the a way to optimize the sluggish reaction time of my break free?

In general there's always a small gap between button press and reaction on screen for all my controls in this game. But whats really annoying is the extremly sluggish response of break free. Even in 1v1 it's half a second. But its much worse if I'm focused by a bunch of ppl spaming multiple cc and abilities at the same time. It takes 2-3 sec and spaming the break free button 5 times until something happens on the screen. If I'm knocked down my char additionally has to survive the getting up animation (if I'm focused by some organized ppl I'm always knocked down -.- )

But from what I experience some ppl do not seem to have these problems. They are able to break free immediatly. So I assume there should be a way to tweak game settings to optimize that. Has anybody an advice?

Latency is fine though, never over 100ms. Fps might go down to 25 in bigger battles. Mostly fps are 40-50 with my settings.I play non vet only. Vet is in my oppinion unplayable with these lags and ttk.

first use the direct break free - not the combo keypress [requires some reallocation of your keys]
second if you are a melee keep an aye on your attackers attacks the cc attacks are quite acknowladgeable with obvious animations and block them negating their cc effect entirely
third incorporate a bash [the previous mentioned break free key] into your animation cancel rotation it adds some dmg or does break you free "automatically"

as a small hint the bloody standup animation(after breaking free) can be canceled by a dodge roll wich (should) prohibit you from further attacks additionally.

I just switched to a direct break free key. My old mouse recently broke so I bought a new one with more buttons  That was when I recocgnized that there's really a delay. Before I accepted that I simply suck pressing two buttons one after the other

I'm afraid I'll never reach a competency level where I'm able to identify styles by animation on my screen. To be honest by now I never did even care at all about how animations could look like. And my screen isn't really a big one and from my perspective its nothing but a mess of combat effects.

If I bash in my rotation or with other words spam bash dont I run then out of stamina after a couple of seconds?

Thanks for the hint. Didnt know that.

But from what I understood break free is...simply sluggish and you can't do much about it but anticipating styles from animations or spamming bash for auto break free?!?

yes it is sluggish depending on the cc type you want to break free from.

you should learn to recognize what is going on in your vicinity its a crutial way of reducing incomming dmg and cc. [and monitors arent that expensive anymore just baught a new one aswell upgrading from an old 15"" TFT ^^ to 29 ]
and its not about spamming bash but using it "preventive" in some cases
