    We tried to do it tonight in vet mode. Each boss fight was pretty interesting. Had a few issues with some of the basic mobs though that I didn't agree with and seem a bit broken. We never beat the last boss b/c someone had to quit for the night, maybe tomorrow.

    As the tank, I have to say, I do not enjoy the role at all anymore. May be retiring my four tanks with this patch. Not gonna play what's not fun.

    Watching the video and other discussion here too I'm more convinced that it was actually Veteran that we did even though group was set to normal. Other option would be that there is actually no normal version of this dungeon, only the hard mode that is activated from the tome. In case there is normal version too then there might be bug where you are thrown in to veteran even though group is set to non-vet if your party is group of veterans.

    Normal and Vet bosses are the same. If you got normal indicator in party it was normal version.

    Difference:

    1. Boss and adds HP
    2. Boss Damage
    3. New abilities (like boss with Cages can eat adds and heal herself, etc)

    Was able to complete 2 of the bosses in Vet as a NB Tank. Then got to the Planar Boss and in Vet just not sure how to mitigate some of the mechanics damage.

    Overall though the dungeon on vet is a bit .... interesting.... its challenging but some mobs have the ability to one shot you as a tank while blocking...... if they were avoidable ya that would be fine.... but some of them arn't sooooo ya.....

    we beat him with 2 players alternating the kiting and a third who would assume kiting if one of those 2 was on portal duty

    In normal mode we've zerged him, ignoring the pinion - it's only 1kk HP. We tried to do so in Vet but it's 3kk HP and was impossible, so have to pick up a pinion every time it's open so it would not stack a DOT on everyone but only on a kiters.

    We'll need to run the vet too in order to make sure though. Could be that all of the bosses will be tougher then and if there are some abilities that didn't happen on the normal. Overall it felt like veteran dungeons in general.

    I'm a bit worried this might be far too easy when playing with VR16 characters with optimal gear setups and 600+ CPs.


    By the way, on 2nd CCable bosses... did you try a CC such as Agony, Rune Prison or Petrify? In theory, you could lock down one or two of the three bosses while you work on the others.

    Just tanked Vet on my DK last night, took us 3 hrs, of course, none of us have been in there before.

    It was fun and challenging, and as a DK tank, the stam was really rough. Still in that mind set to be able to do other things but I can't, stam is the more valued resource now.

    Did not complete the dungeon. 4 hrs in it. Had to buy crown repair kits.

    Had a blast. Finally some challenge. Remided me or early vet dsa.

    I just hope tjat difficulty stay about the same or bit harder in v16 mode.

    Just re ran it in Veteran, I love the vet version. Seems normal version if geared for casuals who want to clear it fast, vet sound like it will take you lots of practice only to complete it.

    I'm good with the difficulty of veteran mode so far

    Vet White Tower is definitely challenging. Still working on the third boss. The first two seems perfect in challenge. Third is gonna be rough for most party combos. I won't be surprised if it gets nerfed soon after it goes live.

    If ZOS nerfed Doshia and Gutsripper, they're for sure going to nerf WGT.

    I like that it lulls you into a false sense of security. First two bosses are fairly easy, then the third with Clivia's guards is like running into a brick wall at high speed.

    Please don t nerf the new dungeons , I like them, finally something challenge , we need challenges and these group more Dynamic mechanics.Good work on there.

    A few times we were very coordinated and developed a strategy that worked quite well. The main problem we couldn't overcome was that the speed of the adds on the first boss after 1/10 health was faster than any of us could regen our resource pools to aoe them down.
