Wrecking blow or Puncturing strikes?

LotusBladedancer
For my stamina Templar, usually try to open up with stampede then use puncturing strikes, but I recently fought (and got my a** handed to me) by a NB using shadow disguise /wrecking blow...

So, would it be better to switch to wrecking blow?

    Try it out yourself.
That's such a simple and obvious thing, why ask for advice if you don't need any help.

its really a personnal preference in terms of how you use it.

damage is equivalent and I know stamplars that use one or the other.

personally I run Wrecking Blow because i'm more used to it since I use it on my stam DK too.

Most people have learned to avoid Wblow, Jabs is faster but sometimes annoying because you also miss a lot of hits.

I prefer Jabs because it has a 8m range, just stay max range and you will certainly manage to hit the enemy

The problem with jabs is that when you get rooted and your target runs around you, you'll need to roll-dodge out of root because your Jabs/Sweep will not "turn with you and your camera". If you use instants, instead, you can turn around whilst being rooted and continue shooting.
And permanent root is an issue in this game, much more than being slowed. This is mainly due to the developers and their "opinion" on root, not being considered as a "real CC" in this game.. (which s..ks). Most skilled players will simply root you for low cost and laugh about your channeled skills. This is a main problem, especially for Templar, since 2 of 3 of their most powerful/spammable attacks are channeled
