How is to possible that I can easily connect to EU not not NA?

Usually I can play flawlessly, until someone at microsoft tripped on a cable. I can login fine to dashboard now, but Now me and others cannot get on the NA server but only eu.
I'm posting this separately so it can gain more attention than looking at ancient and unorganized threads
