sorc pvp help

so im working on a redo on my sorc build and i have a few questions about it

my build hits roughly 2k spell damage and 2k magicka regen (when i use my drinks
) and 25k max magicka

my main bar is destro staff with...

- hardened ward
- harness magicka
- ball of light
- crushing shock
- crystal frag

secondary is resto staff

- mutagen
- healing ward
- retreating maneuver
- hardened ward
- daedric mines

my objective with this build so far has been sustainability, with my magicka regen and shields on each bar i stay alive quite well

my thoughts to improve it however will look like

main

- structured entropy
- velocious curse
- (streak or ball of light)
- crushing shock
- crystal frags

and i would move all of my shields and heals from my previous build onto my secondary bar with mines

my main concerns with the new build would be lack of sustainability, so im looking for advice from any vet players/sorcs, any info,tips, or advice would be amazing

(also i cant decide on streak or ball of light for this build so info on that would be good too)

I like to keep my shields on my resto, when using resto/destro. The bar you keep bolt escape on is up to your preference. I like it on my resto, so I can keep shields up between bolts, but some like it on the bar they keep frags on for the proc.

I'd say to swap out reteating for boundless storm. You get a speed bonus for both, but the lightning form morph adds in extra protection and is helpful for finding cloaking NB.

You shouldn't need mutagen and healing ward. That could be replaced with purge, entropy, or curse. Depending on how comfortable you feel, you could also keep hardened ward on just one bar, leaving room for another skill.

As for streak vs ball of lightning. Use what works for you. Respec and play a bit with both morphs. I have two sorcs, so I use streak on my EP and bol on my AD. They both have their uses and changes how you need to play slightly

im soooo sorry i hadnt realized the atrocity i had committed until it was much too late god forbid i post on the wrong forum because i want info RIGHT NOW...

but thank god you were here to correct me

and now that i know everyone has a life and is doing something else ill try to refrain from getting my questions answered

I am currently using the Ballista Sorc build, which is based on setting up fire ballista anytime anywhere and aiming at dense packs of players, ideally distracted by fighting other players. It is similar to my older pre-oil nerf Oil Templar build.
On my destro bar, I have Volcanic rune which I place underneath myself in case of ambush, and a few other skills I do not use. On my healing bar, I have some heals for said case of ambush. Then on quick slot wheel I have fire ballistas and, if terrain permits use of second siege engine, some meatbag catapults.
It is powerful build with remarkably high kills/deaths ratio and I highly recommend it. The only drawback is that on sloped terrain, the build does not perform well.

you may miss: boundless storm and streak is your best choice
do not double your skill on both bar if they are not required.
morph your mines (give me five)
have some crit buff (power surge, inner light)
think about your third energy overload bar (do something crazy here)
personally i use degeneration but structured entropy is a good choice too
if you are not an healer, i would not have resto skills apart healing ward.
