Even if you play 24/7 and never eat or sleep you will never catch them up and will always get destroyed in pvp by them...

The cap is so huge there might as well be no cap at all....unless you grind 24/7 with exp potions, subscription bonus, mara ring and other exp bonuses, even then you would still never catch up to the PC players....

You either grind exp 24/7 to try and catch up or admit defeat and a broken unbalanced system and say screw it, not worth bothering to catch up with grinders.

Sad really it means eso pvp until champ points are fixed / balanced with never be balanced or competitive.

Nope. The XP pots aren't a catch up mechanic because they can be used by everyone - including nolifers with millions of gold to burn on Ambrosia.

^^ those guys that people think they are trying to catch up too because there on 24/7 also use xp pots.

PC didn't have players with 1 year of play time on day 1 either. It's apples to oranges at this point and your release experience isn't the same as ours.

XP pots aren't for non-VR grinding, they're for vr14 CP grinding with optimal gear.

No but no one cares about the 1-50 grind, can do that while sleeping, the vr 1-14 grind is painfull waste of time after the first time you go through cadwells silver and gold the first time, sorry ZOS your quest writing/storytelling is bland, boring, and completely predictive by anyone who has ever opened any book ever. Not to mention the fact that I hear the same voice from thousands of male charecters, I applaud the effort for voice acting but text based would be more immersive than hearing the same dude with a slightly goofier accent.

As for you PC players comparing yourselves to us console gamers, we had to wait a year extra to play any facsimile of the game period, only to have our experienced cheapened by letting you whiners come over here and completely outrank/overpower us, so cry me a river.

XP boost food is coming out in the next console update. The update is supposed to hit this month but they have not give a date yet, so most likely early next month.

The same reason you use real money. Because they have it and see something they want.

If I want a drill..money is my only recourse. Well unless I want to steal it..But here, XP..you can get just by grinding or questing etc. For free. Not exactly the same..

Now if you payed real money for a useless item, like a pair of shoes with an umbrella on them..then we're talking.

Again it's money, people have it, people buy what they want with it. You can grind xp for free or soon you can buy a potion and grind more xp (level faster etc.). People tend to value convenience.

As you get older you have more money then time. If all i was doing was mindlessly grinding xp then i'd probly pay for a short cut. That being said i have no interest in giving zos another penny

The xp pots, sadly, are not designed in a way to help players "catchup" because those ahead can use them too, and get them faster and easier. Anyone thinking these will help close power caps is sadly mistaken, because in fact it will have the exact opposite effect. They could have been beautiful...but in fact they are game wreckers for casual players in PVP...and will make it even harder for new players to "catchup".
