It could be 2 different things.
Radiant Magelight breaks Sneak/Invis and detect pots also make you visible. Both have a set radius. Try and keep some distance or stay behind your target. Currently there is nothing you can do about the potions seeing through cloak. Next update this will change. Radiant Magelight on the other hand will continue to do so. Just work on your timing and positioning.

I am pretty sure Radiant Magelight does not effect cloak. I use Radiant Magelight, and I also use cloak. When I am fighting a stealther they can cloak and I cant see them. I can also cloak when someone spots me sneaking and they cant see me. I dont think Invisible means the same as cloak. However is someone is sneaking around I can see them plain as day.
