Hi all. I new in forum, but not in game. Sorry for my English, but I want bring to on tab-targeting problem in pvp. I like non-targeting idea of combat, it more interesting and more fun to play when you need aim to your target. And tacically non-target allow more tactical resolves in game. But now in pvp you just can press tab and use your abilities whithout aiming (as example I can use jesusbeam no target if it in my back and I look different side), or you can use gap close abilities on target even if it far from you view (as example - you stand in 1 side of house and your enemy in opposite site of this building and this shortest distance that you can`t cross less 20 meters, but to run to him - you must cross 2 corner and real travel distace about 35-40 meters - and you just use gap-closer ability and get to enemy that you can`t phisically view. In big battles - where many peoples run - tab-targeting allow you conentrate on 1 target and you can`t miss him or attack player that stay direct between you and him. Most breakgaming for my concern it tab-targeting and attacking mist form. I remind - this form can`t be attacked by single attack (only melee or aoe). This skill break ability to damage, heal, purge - only moving and damage reduction. But when you tab-targeting Mist form user you can just direct damage him from any distance, any skills or spells. You can drop slow on him, root on him or stun them. But this skill must prevent controll. Most breakgaming example of this skill - when DK charge on you and drop talon. Root in mist form = 4 second of stun, couse you can`t damage, can`t move, can`t healing, can`t do purge. Only dodge can break this. And for magicka builds (where mostly used mist form) it very very expensive and seriosly drop you surviviality. And tabtargeting make such skills useless.
This is only most known examples of gamebreaking usings tab-targeting in pvp.
