How's anyone tested this set in PvP? I'm curious about it's viability as a stamina DPS Nightblade.

    Pro :
Low cooldown 9k dmg shield (higher than igneous shield or blazing shield)
Make you survive vs 1 shot willies.
great for long fights. Proc multiple times. Paired with dodge roll makes you hard to kill
bubble that costs nothing and is autoproc.

    Con: a defensive set only.

Its the best defensive option right now.

Think of it as almost a 9k hp buff

With this amount of bugs like:
    unbreakable stuns
    delayed breakfree
    breaking cloak
    dodge while lagging server
    etc.

Yes, totally worth it. To deal some dmg you should be able to use animation cancel quite well including bash in your burst phase.

Interesting, well at the moment my gear is 5 piece Hundings rage and 3 piece Ashen grip. Do you think going with 5 piece whitestrake and 3 piece Ashen will be better for PvP then?

I´d suggest you test around with sets until you find something fitting for you.

Could work if you have weapon dmg and stam ring n neck. Personally I use 5pc ravager with this.

Just note that your dmg output will decrease as the 300 +20% wp dmg of hundlings is now gone.

If you are going for purely defense, there are much better sets. With the setup that I use, someone would have to one-shot me for over 100k damage to kill me. Not going to happen.

What set up are you using that gives you a 100K health/damage shield combo?

wait hundings gives you a 20% extra weapon dmg buff?

No, hundings gives you around +300 wpn damage(when gold gear) on your base wpn dmg. You can buff this base value by 20% with for example Rally to achive higher weapon damage. What he means is that you lose 300 weapon damage + 20% out of this 300 which come on top by buffing = you lose 360 weapon damage in total by not using hundings.

It not worked for some skills btw. Camuflage hunter bypass this set and instakill you whithout activation. Some lags on server and macroses (especial whith Dawnbreaker) bypass this set too and not activate it.
But it one of the most best crafted set in pvp now. For any resource build (magica or stamina). And cooldown very low - 15 second when enemy thinking to 1 hit you - most time they die before can counterattack again.

feel like i should get this set for the extra 390 dmg, but the other bonuses aren't very good, 2% crit? really?

    360. Yeah, it's not a bad set, especially for group. The other set boni aren't great, but if you're a bosmer, you can afford compromising there. The big bonus is that the set is craftable. Thus you can argue that it's preferable in the current meta to other sets like skirmisher or air, because you can make it nirn and be more survivable. However, you're a lot squishier than with whitesrake's, which is also craftable. Whitesrakes gives you the free shield+1k more health+health regen+ around 2k spell resi, buffed with nirn it's extra 3.8-4k spell resi. So, I'd say, for medium-size group, go hunding's and for small scale go whitesrake's. For solo, I am still trying out both and comparing but prefer whitesrake's, although you have to optimize your build with other sets to get wpn damage and rely heavily on animation canceling and combos for your burst.

I have a question about this set being used in non-vet campaigns. Will the damage shield scale up with battle leveling or will it stay as it is listed on the item?

Basically I want to use this set on my new PvPer in BwB because it saves me all the time on my lvl 49 but my lvl 49 is using a lvl 46 Whitestrakes set. Is a lvl 10 Whitestrakes going to give me the same shield in Cyrodiil as a lvl 46 Whitestrakes or should I pick a different set until I'm a high enough level.

No, the shield does not scale up.
