Can you mitigate Soul strike dmg?

It's very annoying being hit for 20k dmg at a range of 36m, blocking doesn't seem to mitigate it, is it literally if someone aims it at you = death?

I have every character level 50, both a magicka and stamina version.

✭✭Soul strike (as well as radiant oppression) is considered as a dot. So you can just purge it.1 -
pjwb16_ESO✭✭✭✭purge, cloak,harness magicka or any range stun/ interupt as fossilize, crushing shock etc will work~ here since Beta

Quantine✭✭✭Damage shield through it can be pretty nice. Already mentioned here is harness magicka, will give you back some magicka, since soul strike is magic damage

Rakshat✭✭✭Purge, bash to interrupt, roll dodge before it hits, run out of range, keep recasting shields, keep healing yourself for the duration, use any skill that can interrupt/stun/knock down/fear.
You shouldn't die to soul strike unless you're out of resources or super low on health.Raven Ashcrown
