In game bug report tool?

Is there an in-game bug report tool for console?

I ask, because there an issue that I have been getting when I load up my character - I took a screenshot, but I don't have a USB stick handy to copy it across to my PC on. And I don't want to upload it to social media really. (And I doubt ZoS wants me to publicise bugs like that either!).

The bug in question gives an error like " unexpected object near "["". I have now turned off my PS4, so I can't give the accurate error (wouldn't really want to type it in anyway...). I think it's related to the champion system, as it never happened before VR1, and now happens at the same time as the words "You are now Enlightened". Something also happened when I first got access to the champion page upon starting Cadwell's Silver - I can't confirm if it the same issue or not - but I took a screenshot of that as well...

Aaaand, while i'm mentioning things... I'm not sure the problems with connections has been fully resolved. At about midnight this morning (6th July 15, BST), I was kicked from the game, and got "Could not connect to server, please check your internet connection". I did this, and it was fine, but I couldn't log in for 10-20 minutes. I could connect to PSN and play other games, so I guess this is on the ZoS side of things. Sometimes it would connect long enough to get to character select, but not long enough to get all the way to the game. I saw "This may be an unusually long load time" more than I would have liked...

Heya... I'm pretty sure there isn't, unfortunately... your best option would be to post up a thorough description of the problems you're running into. If you're hesitant to post a full screenshot for any reason, you might be able to crop out everything but the part that actually matters to your post, like an error box, maybe?

I heard others say they were kicked off about that time last night.. so I think it was a server thing.

For the UI error when logging on, delete your saved file on PS4.

We are aware that some players may encounter a UI error while playing the game. They can resolve this by deleting the local Save Data on their console.

Players should be aware that deleting the save data will only reset their Options settings, and that no character data will be affected.

To delete save data on PlayStation 4
1.From the PlayStation Dynamic Menu, navigate to Settings
2.Go to System Storage Management
3.In Application Saved Data, select The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
4.Press the [Options] button of the controller on the ESO Save Data
5.Select Delete



To delete save data on the Xbox One
1.From the Xbox Home Menu, navigate to My games & apps
2.Go to Games
3.Highlight The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited tile and press the [Menu] button of the controller
4.Select Manage Game
5.Highlight and select Save Data for the desired user
6.Select Delete


In addition, players can safely close and ignore the error message by selecting the 'X' icon at the top.

Let me know if deleting the saved file doesn't work. I don't recall exactly what UI I had before, but doing the above helped me out. I lurk these forums pretty regularly, so if that doesn't help I may be able to find some other suggestion somewhere.

That said, if you've encountered a bug and would like to get in touch with our Support Team about it, please don't hesitate to reach out to them using the help menu.

Edit: And we've changed it back! Feel free to report bugs in-game using the original article you posted, but it never hurts to post on the forums as well

Thanks @MissBizz for posting all that up! The console UI isn't exactly my normal wheelhouse so to speak, but I saw this thread sitting looking rather lonely and figured I'd at least break the silence.

@Attorneyatlawl yeah I play on PS4 as well (although still mostly PC), so if you see any questions on them feel free to shoot me a ping. I also do the same thing sometimes.. I can't REALLY help but I'll post somewhat help in hopes it bumps the thread and someone else can help more
