    Not exactly. I also love the solo ganking play-style. But these current proposed changes will NOT be favorable towards it.

    I doubt it will be impossible to solo gank, but it will be significantly tougher. Nearly everyone will have access to a heal, be it stam or magicka and with the 50% reduction in damage and healing (30% more then currently) the bust will be much lower. Effectively giving everyone except the low level and less geared people a lot of time to react.This will make timed CC and sustain builds king.

    So to summarize, expect to have to adjust your play-style significantly, if not completely.

    Characters: All of them, both Stamina and Magicka.

    But with the nerf to heals and tanking wont that mean that all the debuffs rogues have make us the kings of bust as rest of the classes have less debuffs to work with. We do less damage but we lower defences

    Think you guys read the title and didnt read what was being talked about good job. Im a rogue and im saying i think they made us stronger so whos complaining R0m2k ?

    To put it simply, no.

    The damage to heal ratio will remain exactly as it is today, the numbers will just be lower. Allowing for more time to react, get help or what have you.
    The real strengths to a ganking play style is 2 fold. You can chose your fights/targets and you deny them reaction time with heavy burst.

    Allowing players reaction time was/is the goal of these changes. Without that huge spikey burst, people will be able to get off their defencives, making every fight about either sustain or numbers.

    To put it into perspective. My ganks look something like this usually-

    12k-18k heavy attack
    6k-9k SA x2
    = 24k-36k
    Target dead (usually)

    After the changes-

    8400-12,600 Heavy attack
    4200-6300 SA x2
    =16.6k-25.2k
    Most targets won't die.

    Now we will have to see the new class changes/buffs/debuffs, gear and stuff attached to the damage/healing nerf. But us gankers will have to spec more into sustain to be remotely successful looking at just this change.

    I'm hoping something in the Dark Brotherhood line has something to make quick kills possible the same patch where this hits. Maybe a 'for the next 6 seconds, your damage is increased 50%, all ability costs are doubled or for the following 6 seconds your damage is reduced 50%'

    And the sad thing is that even with that ability up, you'd still have less burst than what's possible today : (

    1 * .625 * 1.5 = .93
