Right first off, I am playing the xbox version. Originally the people I was getting it with on the pc flaked on me so I thought I may aswell wait to get a console version to justify my xbox, being I havent many games. I have come from WoW after 6/7 years and get the jist of how a mmo works and what to expect. I was really impressed in how though even picking a class, you can use other weapons and armours to your choosing and how there are many things to level up like Skyrim or older online games like Runescape. Thats cool. What I dont seem to understand are the people that are running around me.

Admittedly I haven't played tonnes of the content yet, my highest character being 12 (please bare with me) and from the get go i was really enjoying it. I had a 10 day holiday and now im back. I went to jump on and start the grind to explore more of the game, but now im looking for people to quest and dungeon with and have a little guild community where we can get stuff done and settle down with. But atm it seems as though the community doesnt care that sort of thing. Maybe its because Im used to a chat box or w.e but since the start I havent group quested with anyone, I havent been able to get into a full party dungeon as people seem to que and leave within a minute of it popping and I havent even had a conversation with someone. The only people that have replied to me in a town chat was two guys telling me to be quiet due to them having a conversation and I was apparently interrupting.

I now find myself a little frustrated as I am really enjoying the game, its just the mmo side of hasnt hit me yet aside from having to wait for things to spawn or letting the wave of people run ahead so I dont have to clear my own path (Lazy I know)

Are the later levels more group orientated? As in my head Im getting the impression that where it is on console, the community is more drop in drop out rather than a pc community (No master race jargan just how I view the platforms)

All in all, im really enjoying the game, taking the little bugs I find with a pinch of salt knowing that its still very early days for the console version to get a "hardcore" community, I'd just like to know what later game looks like on a social aspect

Thank you for reading :)

You already know what I'm about to say. You should have bought it for PC. Consoles have no text chat, a horrible group finder, no community, and you get the pleasure of hearing everyone's crappy music, crying kids, and barking dogs over voice chat. Enjoy.

I had that burning feeling in the back of my mind, yes. But I thought there would be a fair few like minded people like myself that may have wanted to try it on the console as the concept is really good. Pretty deflating I must admit.

I have had a look round for sites like wowprogress but the eso equivalent and have messaged the ones that seemed to tick the boxes, its just there were only 5/6 which seemed to do this.
