Does Zeni not realise there is a southern hemisphere?
I live and play in Australia, and for the record I think this is the greatest game I have ever played.
It would however be more fun if I could participate in a castle takeover with my freinds in pvp without getting kicked from the game.
I have 27mbps D/L and 1.7 U/P at my ps4. Yet I must stay on the outskirts of battle because of d/c fear.
I beg you, please make a Aussie server or australasian server.
Please. I am a paying customer I pay the monthly fee and am happy to like many others.

Swannkyy✭✭✭I live in Australia and have never had a connection issue, ever, since release on PC, maybe a little high ping here and there but never any d/c issues. I used to have around the same speeds you have until a few months ago as well. I have 50/20 now.0

On ps4 it's rare to siege a castle. In small to medium groups it's perfect but when population in the area is large we all drops like flies. I have a group of of 20 players that have the same issue from various parts of Australia (mostly east coast)0

It just kicks us from the application or at best instead of kicked from app we just get kicked to login screen.
It's not unplayable, just means we have to stay out the main fight and stick to ambushing. Which is fun anyways, but I would like to siege castles and defend sometimes.0 -
Honestly 2 servers for the entire planet is a joke.

you seriously think there is justification for a third location and the cost associated with it for a small Oceanic player base ?
Its not the location of the server, its not even the fact there is a 400ms latency instead of a 40ms latency .. its about crap network services in Australia.
The problems with massive data load (ie world PvP) is going to be an issue always on a substandard internet network.
Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

as far as Zenimax is concerned obviously not ... the commercial market in the Oceanic region has always been tiny in comparison to EU and NA markets, not just an issue with gaming.
