Game is lagging like crazy

If I interact with a bookshelf, the book on it takes about 5 seconds to load. When I interact with an NPC or a book that's out in the open, my character will often just stand there. When I try to move to a new area, I'll see the loading screen, then I'll be in the same place I was in before, then I'll jump to where I was supposed to go about three seconds later. When I try to interact with a wayshrine, sometimes the prompt doesn't appear at all, sometimes the thing with moving to a new area happens, and sometimes my character, again, just stands there and does nothing.

When I try to get on my mount, character does nothing for about two seconds, then I'll suddenly be on the mount. sometimes my character gets on the mount without whistling, sometimes my character gets stuck mid-whistle for about 10 full seconds before getting on the mount.

Don't even get me started on the combat, I can't tell what's going on half the time because it jumps between the enemies freezing in place and not taking damage to me freezing in place and becoming a punching bag.

I don't know why this is happening and a fix would be very welcome.

I'm also having the same issue. I go to draw my weapon and nothing happens. Then about 10 seconds later I will attack. I cant tell you how many times i have died because of the lag. Also when i loot something nothing will happen. One time got kicked from the server because i keep hitting A to get the items from a chest " Because i was spamming messages". I have played many mmos and know issues like this happen all the time. Just giving you guys a heads up on the issue. The game os fantastic as a whole. Everything is amazing. Issues happen once and a while.

I realise that issues happen once in a while, I just wish they wouldn't happen:

A) During a very difficult boss fight.

When I am ridiculously far from the nearest wayshrine.

or C) When I am literally about to grab the last skyshard in Coldharbour!

Ever since I believe Sunday or Monday of this week this has been happening non stop. The lagging is random but it's happening frequently enough I just wanna quit playing this game and move onto something else until it's fixed.

I get the game is going to have problems but this is day 3 or 4 of horrible lag that makes the game more annoying than fun.

This needs to be fixed asap.
