I'm a ("grumpy old") mature gamer who likes to enjoy the adventuring experience, and soaks himself in the Lore of the world I play in.

I've got a lot of years of MMO experience behind me, and am just looking for a suitable home to join other like minded and considerate individuals, and enjoy the ride. I enjoy setting the scene and running PvE with immersion and adventure in mind. I'm not a hardcore roleplayer (and I don't think voice chat on a PS4 supports the best format for roleplaying - when a large 40+ bloke tells you he is a slight framed elven archer girl), but I do enjoy getting into situations that follow Lore and call a heroic nature into play. I'm not a loot fanatic, or a min/max'er, I just enjoy using the skills I've honed, alongside the characters I co-operate with, in the value system of the world I play in.

I've currently got a rather confused but loyal dunmer assassin working for the Dominion, with particular allegiance to the Queen. She's level 31, and can place a blade betwixt a pair of Covenant or Pact shoulder blades with some precision. She can carry a tune on the drum or lute if necessary, and is willing to assist all loyal followers of the Dominion.

Would just like to find a home, estranged from the Ash mountains in Morrowind, and her ties to her Mother race and the farce that is the Pact. Trillyn is her name. Although this old man behind her actions is known by another name....

Awesome intro. I've been surprised myself by the lack of RP in this mmoRPg (I don't think the omission of text-chat helped)... and it's something I'd love to see more of. I think once the 'casuals' start to move on to the next new shiny thing that's available (I'm looking at you MGSV), we'll start to see more of that emerging.

I'm guessing that your PSN is the same as your username?

Thanks to Godzuki for the invite (in game) this morning, I've accepted and have now got the message threads necessary.

I tried to join the website last night, but seem to be stuck in the loop of Awaiting Validation via email. I've requested 3 confirmation emails over the past 24 hours, but haven't got anything through. Can't see anything in spam folders and what not.

Looking forward to getting onto the website and start up some chatter about the game. Also, when I've got some playtime will post up grouping requests in the appropriate PSN message thread.

I think I have about 4 AD characters, in various stages, but my main is Trillyn, the Dumner assassin.

Not quite sure what pledges are about, but no doubt when I get access to the website I can read up on the GOG's community rules and what not.

That's strange regarding the validation emails. I'll ask the admins and see if they can find a problem.

When you reach level 45, you gain the option to take on Daily Undaunted Pledges. Which are basically dungeon runs with rewards based on meeting certain conditions.

Ok, thanks for clarifying the Pledge thing. I've tried three of my email addressesnow, and the last one worked, so I can now get in to the website..

I used to play ESO on PC but dropped my sub pre-TU. Now I'm back but on the PS4 platform.

I'm still a low level Wood Elf NB lvl 6, learning the ropes again, but I have plenty MMO experience under my belt (vanilla WoW - Mists of Pandaria, LineageII, Guild Wars 2, SWTOR, Wildstar, Planetside 2).

Although I don't know if I'm considered old enough to fit the criteria of joining the GOGs (I'm 29), I feel I could enjoy ESOTU by being part of a mature community of gamers.
