Prisoner of Jathsogur Quest Problem
This quest is part of the main quest line for Aldmeri Dominion. The quest mob doesn't spawn very often, so the quest site constantly has a ton of people waiting to complete the quest. For example at 8:15 am EST, there were 16 people waiting on the boss. After the boss spawns, there's ma another MOB that's supposed to spawn and go downstairs. It gets killed because of the large crowd and no one can complete the quest. I am currently at almost two hours waiting just to complete this stage of the quest. I have also submitted a ticket on it. This quest is broken. Please hotfix it asap.

already a forum post on it, they know about the issue.... you'll just get a generic answer from the ticket.
nothing's being done, it does get fixed every maintenance but due to the nature of the quest and how it works in "that" room due to poor design... it breaks, easily.0 -
It reminds me of the bot/boss camping problem in public dungeons shortly after release on PC. Somehow they managed to fix that problem. I hope they can fix this one as well.0

I know there's a discussion thread in the general forum, but if it is a bug or glitch problem, it should be reported under the tech support form. Otherwise, it's like going to the post office for a problem with your cable provider.0

So, there's a simple fix to this quest - make the quest NPC non-attackable and non-agrroable until they reach the bottom of the stairs and can start the next stage of the quest.
I have talked to a number of new console players on the Aldmeri Dominion faction and this quest is their number one complaint. Zenimax is losing their new player base by not taking care of a problem that should have been fixed a year ago.1 -

On the plus side, you can work around it. You can just go to Reaper's March and continue the AD quest line without any completing this quest.0
