Keyboard isn't working please help

I am unable to create a new character I literally have to get on my cousins xbox just to use the keyboard to create a character keyboard just won't show up please help getting really angry

Talcon✭✭✭disconnect any physical keyboard or usb device you have attached to your xbox and reboot. If you have those things attached it can bug out the ESO built in on screen keyboard and you wont be able to type anything.1 -
