Guild invite - Invalid Gamer Tag

This is not stated on the known issue thread. Is not being able to invite players to a guild related to the in game mail bug (GT Invalid due to spaces in GT)?

I have friended multiple players so their Gamer Tags are valid, yet can't send email or invite to guild. Yes all have spaces in their GT.

This is very frustrating. Can we have an update of when a patch will go live to remedy this?

Yeah this is a big problem and needs to get fixed.

Server performance, etc has all been improved, which is great, but its been almost 2 weeks and I feel they need to get on top of this one.

My wife is unable to send in-game mail to anybody, no matter if the GT has spaces or not. Support ticket hasn't been able to help either.

Yeah I can't send mail or invites to people, keep getting Character does not exist or something kind of like that. I seem to be able to receive them alright. I'm not sure if for some reason its trying to send it to a character name instead of a gamertag, with how the error I get reads it makes me think that it doesn't want me to type the gamertag but either way doesn't work.

You are doing a patch now.... Is this addressed?

This is a MMO right? We are supposed to be able to link up with other people in game? They have a VALID gamer Tag and we can link up in other games and/or xbox live chat even though ESO states otherwise.

I don't think it is too much to ask for some info on when this will be addressed! Or at least acknowledgment that you are aware of the guild invite issue as well...

it's probably because they aren't on the right server as you.

Wrong.... You can travel to player and that works. Both on same server just 'invalid gamer tag" for ESO mail & ESO Guild invitations

Is there a number for too many spaces? or is a bug with certain people?

I've invited people with up to 3 spaces on Xbox. They are all using real spelling and real words... no 1 for l or symbols (%$@ etc.) stuff. So I don't think it is spaces.

I have also but I have two presently that have spaces and it is a no go
