Altmer stamina nightblade

Hey guys, I'm pretty new and wanted to ask if that combination is viable! Or more if Altmer is fine at stamina based stuff and in tanking ?
Also I've read that Templar is the only real healing class, is that true? If not, which classes are good at healing?

The combination is viable. However for maximum optimal performance, Altmer might be better off being a magicka nightblade. It doesn't mean the Altmer can not tank or be a stamina based nightblade, its just that the racial bonuses for an Altmer lean towards magicka.

Templar is the only class with a healing skill line, but the restoration staff skill line is open to all. Once again for maximum efficiency, Templar is the class to go for healing. However there are class bonuses that the Templar does not have access to such as funnel health, igneous shield and the sorcerer's magicka capabilities.
