Hopeless PvP starting out! Help?

What's the best way to fight back and survive in Cyrodill when you're just starting out? Every time me and my crew go out there trying to do some bounty missions, we get reamed by mobs of opposition. It's quite depressing and I may need meds soon if I plan to accomplish the mission objective again lol.

How can we fight back and survive? Any strategies or hot spots? Or is it a gank fest until you can gank someone yourself?

If you are non vet in a veteran campaign as a new player. Prepare to die. A lot...

If you are in non vet campaign as a new player... You'll get the hang of it. Eventually.

There have been some guides for new players. Google them. Quick tips: don't sprint with your mount when you are alone or very small group. Keep your defenses up as much as u can.

Strategies on fighting.... ooooooh boy. Youtube man youtube. Try sypher for DK or NB builds/strategies. Legendary mage for sorcerer. If you are a templar... Hehe you picked the wrong class son.

Hang in there. It takes a while to learn the ropes.
First step: forget everything you think you know of the game.
Second step: defense is better than offense, but sometimes offense is the best defense. Learn, which is true in what situations.
Third step: train yourself to block (heavy hits, CC) but only if required (don't waste stamina)
Fourth step: watch where you step. You are going to hate this sentence (cough fall damage cough) but it has its relevancy on the battle field as well. Remember the gank spots and avoid them. Never travel in straight lines. Line of sight is the most powerful defense skill.

Get the movement skill, its just useful and saves you a lot of time traveling, its aoe as well and only costs a bit of stamina

If you are a Magicka user it will cost you around 75% of your stamina.

Vis summed it up, really. Serious!

But.. to try to be more helpful.. it's good you have a group of friends to play with-- that's a good start. Learn your defensive abilities and use them in addition to your offensive abilities. If you're still being outleveled/CP'd/geared, stick near other groups.

In all fairness, against 90% of people on console wrecking blow spam will win 1 on 1 fights.
