Main quest bugged AD needs attention
The main quest "the prisoner of jathsogur" is currently bugged and uncompletable. Not to mention poorly designed. The quest involves multiple stages which finally culminate in having to enter the keep and defeat the silvenars jailer. Which is the problem. He only spawns once every 15+ mins and that's only if all the other players standing around arnt blooming his spawn by standing on top of his spawn area. Then he has next to no HP and isn't a so called boss mob so he blows over like a wet noodle. Then even if you get past all of that and luckily kill him... The quest doesn't update. I've literally been here for 10 hours today. I have killed him a massive number of times, ive abandoned the quest and re done it multiple times with different choices and logged out for 5 mins like support recommended. I've done everything imaginable to try and complete this quest. And nothing. And I'm not the only one. I have seen hundreds of played come through

Today trying to do this quest and all eventually give up in failure. Not once has anyone completed it. And others like me can't just leave because no of we want to continue getting skill points from the main quests and continue the main questions have no other choice but to keep trying. This is very frustrating. To top it all off its impossible to communicate with all the other players because you all decided we didn't need a centralized text chat. Its hard to share info or sell things or do anything. You really need to put it back. Hoping to hear back soon. Thanks1

they're probably aware of it.. should be fixed during maintenance so it'll break again. until a patch in the future.

deplorable✭✭this is worse than the "tangled net" where that one guard doesn't leave and the third barrel is impossible (something that probably still plagues the PC version)0

I had fun trying that one too. At least on PC you can use the world chat to tell everyone what they are doing wrong. We can only talk in world voice chat and hope some of them hear us while the rest inevitably don't because they are in groups with friends or have world chat muted due to the multitudes of people blasting music or screaming profanities into mics.0

Draxeus1Soul ShrivenHere is another bug, idk the quest name but it's in glenumbra right after you capture a lercher and bring it to the girls, if you follow them before you talk to the earth spirt, the earth spirt disappears and you can't complete the quest, please fix0

OzJohnD✭✭✭✭Put in an in game ticket ... some bugs have carried over from the PC version. Mostly they reset with maintenance and break again. If that bug is a known issue, your ticket response will tell you.Everyone knows the phenomenon of trying to hold your breath underwater - how at first it's alright and you can handle it, and then as it gets closer and closer to the time when you must breathe, how urgent the need becomes, the lust and the hunger to breathe. And then the panic sets in when you begin to think that you won't be able to breathe - and finally, when you take in air and the anxiety subsides...that's what it's like to be a vampire and need blood.

Its not listed in known issues and the ticket is useless. They just tell us all the same stuff log out reset eat and check the forums to see if there is a solution. There isn't and thus my post ^^0

So someone told me a potential way to fix it problem is it won't work because people don't cooperate. It requires everyone to leave the room and go out of range to where it said failed and goes back to "talk to the silvenar" if no one is in the room it then resets the play space and we can move forward. But there is always afk people and people who just want to troll. Never going to get done.0

Because the damned mod/admins answer almost immediately when there are problems with the crown store (company's way to make more money) and not a single *** answer to this problem.

Still clearly they know about it ... its pretty impressive that the bugs in the PC version have reached the console version without being fixed.

I send a ticket report about this quest everyday, sometimes more times a day, and never got other than the standard default auyomatic answer.0 -
Ditto mpec. I started hoping that I could hop on really late and work together with people since I expected less people online. Unfortunately it seems many people are fixing there controllers so they are not logged out so there is no chance of getting everyone out of the room to reset it. So this isn't going to work either. Just going to hop on after a maintenance and see if I can't get lucky then.0
