Two handed or dual wield for stamina based dps nightblade?

My character is a stamina based nightblade that uses the assassination and siphoning skill tree for most abilities. I recently met someone pretty experienced on the game and he said that a two handed build is better than a duel wield build for dealing damage. I started looking at the two handed tree for the first time ever cause I got the game a week ago on ps4. It looks like it does have some great dps but I am only level 8 for it and am level 35 for duel wielding. I only use one skill from duel wield and then the passives. I'm kinda of just looking for a second opinion on whether to change 2h or just stick with duel wield. Also, what would be the best way to raise the 2h as quickly as possible if need be?

Im a dps NB , I used a bow / dw combo and it didn't work out as well as a bow / 2h combo did for me. It's basically what you're comfortable with and how you manage to pull off more dps with your build. The only way to raise 2h swords asap is to use it in combat with all it's skills, kill monsters and complete quests.

    both.
    DW/2H is pretty good build.

But it's better to start with 2H

In combination with bow and viewed from PvP perspective, DW becomes superior (due to AoE utility) once you have unlocked Vigor. Before, 2H provides a much needed survivability boost. Mind, this is just my personal point of view, not necessarily true for everyone. Also, it partially depends on "external support" - if you usually go with a balanced group, DW may very well be better suited than 2H.

As to OP's second question: Get a "training" traited 2H weapon, put as many 2H abilities on your bar as you have unlocked, quest. Every turn-in exp gets multiplied by training bonus for sake of skill line leveling, with added bonuses for slotting abilities and you train those abilities at the same time (as long as you have that weapon/bar active while handing in the quests).

Thanks, I just have one more question. Are there any abilities from any skill tree that are just to amazing for nightblades that it is just ridiculous not to utilize to its full capacity ?

For PvP I'd have to nominate Aspect of Terror and its Morphs.
