Trying to tweak a Vampire DK 1H+S for PvP

I'm hoping to do a lot of PvP on my Vampiric DK on the XB1 server. I just got my bite yesterday, and when tried PvP, was having difficulty with the Stage 4. But because of long queues I didn't want to leave Cyrodiil just to go feed, and had trouble and was unable to feed on any players. Are there human mobs around that I can feed on in the future?
Also, what should I know about being a Vampire in PvP specifically? How can I make it work, and how can I utilize the benefits and overcome the cons?

You do not feed. Stage 4 is the what you want. Don't worry about health regen. Does not matter in the least. The advantages of stage 4 absolutely outweigh the disadvantages.

Fire will do like 50% more damage to you. That is the biggest con to Vampires in PvP as everyone uses fire siege. Get some fire resist gear.

Also if you get crit by Evil Hunter or Camo Hunter you may turn into a pile of blue ash.

I have almost 4k fire resist and it has as far as I've noticed had no impact at all on my survivability against fire. A guild mate has something like 20k fire resist and he agress that fire resist barely helps at all.
Some people on the forums say it helps, but every single player I've talked to personally says it doesn't -, or at the very best it "isn't even remotely as helpful as it needs to be".

Being a vampire can be fun, but being a vampire is what got me fed up with PvP in ESO (sure, the chronic lagging and the plethora of bugs contributed). Having fire resist means you forfeit some enchants that could have been health or something that's actually useful.
Becoming a vampire was one of the things I really looked forward to in ESO and I've been a vampire since a few weeks after launch, but now I don't see any point in remaining a vampire except for staying true to my character.

But then again, I'm a Nightblade and am super squishy, I hope you will have a more pleasant experience as a vampire.

    Best of luck to you!

Get nirnhoned armor and DO NOT use fire resist glyphs.

Fire resist is broken atm. ZOS has acknowledged so and is fixing it. Your best bet is to make sure you're using mist form when hit by seige. Also make sure you are using bat swarm to get the most out of your stage 4 vamp.
I always say that I hate this game, yet for some reason i'm still here.
