They don't care.
There properly isn't anyone even working on the problem as it's Sunday.
I even noticed a post complaining about the problem that they closed , saying the complaint wasn't contructive.

I get limited game and they messed that up,

Not a good way to get people's loylety.

oh they are working on it, you can tell, it doesn't even do the "loading" thing for a few minutes anymore, as they've taken down the EU login servers completely. (should have done that originally but they probably figured it was a quick fix).

-whistles- to be honest... the SLA they have (service level agreement) .... i have no doubts they'll have it up and running within their own little window -even on a sunday.

11 o'clock at the latest, any longer and they might as well take down the whole thing for a full maintenance... (which i'm surprised hasn't happened yet)

It is so frustrating being unable to logon to play the game. I have been trying on my PS4 for the past two hours without success. I paid seventy pounds for the game and then paid out for the ESO Plus service; I now feel a bit of a mug because the service has been pretty poor since launch.

I like the game... when I can play it. And that timeslot seems to be of Zenimax's choosing rather than mine.

Pretty sure the forum admins didnt decide to unplug us all...certain people need to sit back and realise when you have a game with a bazillion things to do...loosing a few hours/days really isnt the end of the world aslong as its good in the end-alternatively they release a game even later after running it live without you..i for one eill tske hiccups over game coming out even later lol.....go make yourself a cuppa tea , wash your feet and return later. It'll either be broke or fixed not a great deal you can do about it either way

Is anyone surprised that the support's answer is to contact Sony? That's their go to answer, to the point they have even added this to the game; log in fail awhile ago suggested contacting Sony. You'd think such a renowned company could do better.

Yeah getting a bit annoyed too. I get one day off a week where I try and fit in everything I need to get done as well as social and gaming time. I rearranged so many things to sit and play today and haven't been able to get on at all. I had no issues until today, the one day I could actually spend proper time playing! I understand teething issues but this is pretty bad. I agree that they should offer something to people who had the game in the first few weeks, free crowns or something.

no they don't have to do anything, did you read the T&C's?

Seriously? Second time already! How hard is it to make a game? We only have consoles for like, 20+ years or so, it's all pretty new ofcourse.

@admin @ZOS_JessicaFolsom How will players be compensated for the two times downtime?

I agree the game is good when you can play it, and don't kicked off, or get stuck on loading screens.
Or can actually connect.

There is no excuse for the shoddy way they have prepared the servers for this.
Or the long down times.
What use is an expensive game that you simply can't play.

On another positive note if you bash your buttons abit whilst bored at login screen you can watch the opening trailer and make a new character for 5 minutes of entertainment

Yup, I just managed to trickle onto my Select Character screen on the EU Megaserver, think it was on my 5th attempt (the previous 4 were login failed - internal error messages). Cheers for all the updates, look forward to an all clear later

Unfortunately most of my Guild can't get online. Some of them are but most can't access the EU PS4 server. It's been like this for the last 3 - 4 hours now.

We have had everything from

Login Failier
Server Time out
Error with server
Connection Timed Out
Unexpected Error

I have the monthly sub, its not worth the money. Only 10% of everything is a money grab. It should be 30 or 50 procent. Sodont bother with it._. And now log in issues on console too, you can see future gaming is already failing._ shame on you._ i played the pc version too. Seems they havent learned at all. Its only a console no pc like where you have the made for those different hardwares and softwares to make it working. Still inthis future they even fail with console games. I have this ps4 some months now, it made in short time more failures then any ps version before. I like this game more on console but the monthly buff is the biggest failure where i pay 12,99 euro´s for._

Maybe it's because that fewer people are logging in, the server load is lessened?

@deplorable I didn't say they had to compensate but I think I would be good customer service if they offered something for people who were affected by all these issues. It would lessen the bad taste that a lot of players have been left with over these issues and sweeten the fact that people have been unable to play all day.

I don't know about you guys, but getting into the game is still not an easy task for me at this time of day. I get placed in the queue with number 2000+ and then get "connection timed out" error after a couple of minutes.


And I had such a good run last week up until sunday...
